Last night my boyfriend got drink; he also drank 3 energy drinks.

I'm 20 yrs old, 6 ft tall, & 150 ibsI've made it a goal this semester to become more physically fit and stronger. Just to feel better throughout the day, and really tone and strengthen my whole body. I go to the gym 3 hours a week, and spend 2 hours a week doing karate.
When I took a physical a week ago, my blood pressure was good, cholesterol was good, and I have body fat a little less than 10%, and "excellent muscle endurance" but my resting heart rate is higher than it should be. On the elliptical my hr was averaging 135 without me trying too hard, and it'd go over 140.
Now I hate running, so the elliptical works for me, but I've also heard that doing too much of that will make you lose muscle. What would be an optimum way to improve my heart rate while still building muscle from hitting the weights?
also, I find it difficult to really get motivated at the gym, I've already made it inescapable to not go to the gym by making a deal with my friend that if I don't go to the gym for at least 3 hrs a week, he gets to kick me in the balls haha. but unless I'm on an energy drink like red bull or 5 hour energy, I don't get even half as much done there.
a few things I'm worried about: I'm a bit paranoid about possibly passing out from working myself too hard while strung on the e drinks, the e drinks actually making it worse for my heart, getting kidney stones. Can someone help shed some light for me? I know they're obviously bad for you because of the sugar and caffeine, but is there more to it than that?
and is 5 hr energy really a safer alternative than red bull? It's obviously got less sugar, but I don't tend to crash from energy drinks anyway, sometimes I feel like the 5 hr energy's even more dangerous cuz it's such a small little capsule and all potent.

Getting Kicked in the balls?
This is really embarrassing but here it goes. i was with friends and one of them wanted to be funny so he kicked me in the balls. after 2 minutes i was basically fine. About 10 minutes later my eyes were seeing things weird, like whatever i was focusing was really bright then everything else was darkening. My body started dropping, like weakening like I couldn't function. I told my friends they thought i was lying. I fell to the ground and couldn't get up for 30 seconds. I was in a line for a roller coaster btw. I then exit the ride then everything became blackening so i ran to a store to get an energy drink to help me feel better. Is this a coincidence (I haven't been on any rides)?
Update it would be embarrassing for my parents to take me to the doctors and plus i feel fine now.-

The environment helps you define how you interpret these feelings. There is nothing that would initiate the feeling of fright, but there are stimuli to encourage aggressive behavior. Since you body has become used to these feeling of "jumpiness" without them your body feels a let down and you would need something else to spur your feelings of aggression.

Im sixteen years old and I am pretty small for my age. I was held back lots of times and I am in sixth grade. I even look like a sixth grader and I am 4 11. I am bullied by eighth graders. Every time I race a sixth grader, in the middle of the race well I get so tired that I slow down and I am always so sweaty and I drink lots of water but I never eat enough vegetables or get the vitamins I need. I don't know if I am even fast but I was wondering if there was a shake to make some energy for my body. I am the oldest one in my class. I can kick a ball pretty high like an average for a sixth grader. But it seems pretty high for me and I always end up hurting my foot. But now every time an eighth grader because they take my back pack and won't give it back. I dont know how but I was able to win a fight with an eigth grader. The best thing to do is take vitamins and maybe some vitamin B12 which will help you with your energy. Also keep in mind that some people are fast and others are not. QUESTION:
My 3yr old pomeranian threw up balls of hair. What should I do?
He is not eating, but he is drinking a normal amount of water. He has thrown up hair 3 times in the last 4 days. My dog started doing this on friday the day after we switched his dog food(to science diet). We are debating on taking him to the vet, but he seems to have decent amount of energy. We are just worried that he isn't eating, and hasn't ate since Sunday, and it's now Tuesday. Our dog's ears are up and his nose is wet. Should I take him to the vet, or do you think we should wait it out?-
ANSWER:
You're obviously not asking whether science diet is good for your dog (even though it is on the good end on dog foods) so i don't understand why everyone is just commenting on your food choice. He must have accumulated the hair over a course of time. Its good he got all that out. The vet may give him an IV to get his energy up. Otherwise, I agree with the nurse and the olive oil.

Drunk two energy drinks, was super crazy all day, and now im depressed as and want to kill myself?
Im a 14 year old girl (i never drink these types of drinks EVER)Is this just a syptom and will it go away? I hate life and i've never felt this down before it just happened, and now i feel like everyone hates me?

Two? That all?I have drunk six in one go. Worse idea ever, i got hyper for like an hour and then crashed worse then ever. I felt really depressed and just meh, but yeah it's a sympton. Energy drinks increases your heart beat, and then when it's all over you just feel like meh.

Getting a gift for a soon-to-be college freshman --- what should I give him?
My cousin is going off to college and I wanted to give him a small going away present. I'm going to be a sophomore in college next year so I've thought of a few things but I wanted some other opinions. I want this gift to be fun and include small things he would eventually need or things he would never think of to bring with him.This is what I have so far: playing cards, pong balls, and his favorite energy drink. Anyone have anything else?
We are basically the same age... think of it as a gift from college friend to college friend. Except for I won't get him condoms... too weird.My cousin is a pretty laid back guy typical college goof I suspect. haha. help! i wanna get him something he will thank me for.

A small first aid kit with a thermometer, cold medicine, pain reliever, neosporin, band aids, water proof bandage tape, and sunscreen. These were all things I found myself urgently needing and had to ask a friend to help me find or buy for me.hmmm ... trying to think back... condoms but he's your cousin so thats weird... booze is awesome for making friends but I think your to young to buy him beer ... and again he's your cousin...
I didn't think to bring something to wipe down my desk and wash my window so maybe some cleaning supplies.
Maybe package whatever you give him in a trashcan or storage container that will fit under the bed?
One kinda lame thing I found myself needing was some sort of filing system for all of the important papers I was suddenly responsible for keeping track of.
I think a huge help will be your knowledge, especially if you go to the same school. Local restaurants that are good... ooooo maybe make a map of the area with 'cool' spots labeled hehe. If you don't know the area maybe just offer your phone number/e-mail/FB/Myspace and let him know he can call you if he needs anything.
Edit: Hah! I didn't include any 'fun stuff': Candy, gum, chips, a little cutting board (if he'll have a fridge), anything caffeinated you can find (gum, candy, soap
. A cool cup or mug, beef jerky, a binder of all your work from freshman year, maybe he'll be able to get 'inspiration' from something LOL. Febreeze incase his roomie smells like ass, a big beach towel (better to walk back from the shower in), funny/cool pajama bottoms, That's all I've got, great idea!!

QUESTION:
I have trouble focusing and I just feel like I don't have much energy. How can I feel more awake?
A bit more information: I get about 7-8 hours of sleep every night. I work 5 days a week from 8 am - 4 pm. I have a cup of coffee in the morning. I eat things like oatmeal, waffles, tuna, pasta, frozen meals, hamburgers, green beans, shredded wheat, brownies. I drink water (possibly not as much as I should). I was exercising more often but I got out of a short term relationship (I was a little upset) about a month ago and haven't really gotten back into the walking/resistance training. I stretch a little bit but probably not as much as I should (I do notice a boost in energy from a little stretching).My main issue is I'll get to work and just zone out. It's not that I don't like my job, I want to get things done more than anything, but I often find myself feeling drained and I'm not quite sure why.
Any tips on getting better would be much appreciated. I want to just be a ball of energy but I simply feel like I can't. Thanks.

i wrote a long, detailed plan.. and after previewing it, i forgot to send it in. so, my hard work went down the tubes. im sorry...anyway, i wrote that these are my own regimens I use:
*eat an apple or banana everyday with all natural peanut butter everyday with my breakfast
*stay away from heavy amounts of caffeine (possible you're experiencing a paradoxical or rebound reaction to the caffeine)-- herbal tea may help
*take a complete multi-vitamin every morning after breakfast with a large glass of water
*eat nuts and seeds while at work to keep your mind somewhat alert (when blood sugar peaks and troughs, concentration and alertness is affected)
*do cardio exercise everyday at least 15 min... 30 min is the recommended, but 15 seems to be good for me. a workout dvd works or a used eliptical machine (i got one on craigslist for )
*keep eating a varied diet that is low in BAD fat like trans-fat and saturated fat. these increase your lipid levels and decrease energy! poly and mono unsaturated fats are great in moderation!
*try to get at least 8 hrs of sleep
*maintain a good sleep rhythm.. on weekends, wake up only an hour or so later than you do during the week and go to bed only an hour or two lateri hope this helps. if it's too hard to do it all at once, a few changes at a time can certainly help!!!! good luck!

I got her,Daisy, and her twin sister, Lilley, a couple weeks age and Lilley is a ball of energy wheras daisy stays in her hut all th time. She only comes out to eat or drink. MAkes litter training difficult. They both are 8 weeks old.. Lilley is bigger than daisy too.Daisy is not sick... May e just skiddish???

Well first of all, im 13 and i play competitive soccer in ontario and i am left mid-fielder. I love striking the ball and the back of the net! You sound well prepared. A lot of people don't put enough thought into what's in their bag and end up forgetting something. Extra strings are a good idea, especially if you use a brand that is not common. Most pro shops have string, but may not have your brand. Bananas provide potassium which is an essential nutrient to prevent cramping during activity. Your pocari sweat may have plenty of potassium, but check the label to be sure. If not, it won't hurt to throw some bananas in your bag. I don't like bananas, but I carry a jar of almonds which are also high in potassium (and less likely to get squished in a crowded bag). Other than that, sounds like you have everything.

For 2 days, I have been getting sharp random sour stomach pains (just below my ribcage, dry throat, white tounge, and sometimes dizzy. rarely i get a sharp lower back pain when i inhale/exhale. I havent poo'ed in those 2 days (once but it was little), but pee'd alot alot. I just turned 15 (extremely active), and this is what ive been eating/drinking/activityFirst Day

If this came on suddenly, it could be a viral stomach infection. Some types of viruses can cause symtoms such as indigestion or reflux (When the food comes up on you).From the looks of what you wrote, you are not drinking enough fluids. Gatorade and water one day---and a Monster Energy Drink and water on the other day..
Since you are physically active (and probably sweat as well) you need to drink
AT LEAST 1/2 of your body weight in ounces. If you weigh 120lbs this would be
60 oz. 140 lbs would be 70 oz.Most people do not drink enough fluids throughout the day.The Monster Energy Drink probably has a lot of caffeine in it---this ingredient alone will make you urinate more.
I would try to stay away from the Energy drinks and only drink the Gatorade occasionally (they have a lot of sugar). Start carrying bottles of water around with you. You can also take a Gatorade drink and mix most with water (either the 32oz or 64 oz) to just give your water alittle flavor.
The additional fluids will also get your bowels into motion again and you will get into a normal routine.
Also---you need to eat some fruit, vegetables, milk products (yogurt, cheese,)
protein---egg, chicken, turkey, tofu.The bread and rice, whopper, taco bell, granola bar, chips, and the bagel with cream cheese are a huge number of carbs.
If you are going to have a bagel, it's better to have it with lite butter rather then cream cheese. Don't eat the granola bar within an hour of eating the bagel.
If you like carrots---put this in a plastic zip bag (they are easy to eat). You can also put celery in a zipped bag with a dip of peanut butter.
Your body has a way of telling you/letter you know when you are not eating sufficient nurtrients not adequate fluid intake/
Remember your liquid intake has to go even higher when you are engaged in physical activitiy....Bring a pitcher of iced water.
After following the for a fed days you will start to feel amazing.
It's hard when you're a kid and Adults don't lknow anything. I have been just where you were and ate horrobily.

Help with finding the name of an obscure internet game...?
A few years ago, I remember playing an internet game, but I can't remember what its name was so I can play it again! I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me find it again. I remember that you played as a wizard character, and you clicked the mouse to hurl energy balls at enemies. Drinking one of four types of potions increased your power or speed or something else, and you walked around from screen to screen to save your brother and beat some evil wizard I think. I also remember that the final boss was a giant baby, and that the same people who made this game also made a sequel to it and also a similar game that involved you playing as a squirrel. Can anyone help me figure out the title?
Also, the game uses sprites as characters and background. As far as the story goes, you're a wizard trying to defeat another wizard to save your brother, who is also a wizard. I'm sure that someone out there knows what I'm talking about!
also, it was not everquest or guild wars. it was a sprite-based game coded in C++ or something like that. There was also a sequel to it made by the same people.-
