  It depends what kind of venue and where you will be standing/sitting. If you are on the floor it is important that you wear good shoes. No flats or sandals....you will either lose your shoes or have your feet crushed. Boots are best but vans or whatever work too. Your boyfriend is right, comfort is important, and you will probably look like a mess by the end, but feel free to dress as long as you remember it is a high energy crowd. Just remember, good shoes.

My friend is superhuman! Is he on steroids?
My friend and I don't usually go out on runs very often, but this morning he insisted that I should jog with him before school. My friend is fairly athletic. He's not much fitter than your "average Joe". He told me he was trying this new energy drink call "Hardcore Energy Bullet" or something like that, before we started our jog. I thought nothing of it until he managed to run 5k, faster than me in full sprint (and I'm pretty fast) without stopping in a pair of baggy old jeans. I had trouble keeping up, and at one point he even managed to stop and lift up a car, with a sleeping driver, in the middle of the highway, without dying. He ran through sand, snow, and up a very steep rocky hill without even slowing down. Later, (around lunch) I sparred him for fun. Oh my goodness... it was like fighting afro samurai times 2! He managed to break my sword and arm with one strong blow! I think he's become a threat to society, and must be silence, just like the Hulk. How can I tell if he's on steroids or undergoing some sort of super human mutation? I will kill him if I need to before it's too late. Any help is appreciated.

I have two friends who have recently crossed over to the dark side, and joined the bad crowd. Now they keep spending all their money on this blue energy drink called Hardcore Energizer Bullet. I like call it death in a bottle. This stuff is so potent it could kill you, whenever they drink it, it looks like they're on meth. After drinking it, one of my friends chased down a car, and mounted it after the driver committed a drive by insult on him.They came into my work all jittery, running on the walls, and then they went up to my co-workers, and asked for the "Adult Video Section" my co-workers told them, "We don't have an adult video section." they pointed at me and said "He looks like he knows where it is!" So for the past while I've been thinking of running away from home. I'm planning on leaving as soon as possible. However I have already attempted to leave twice and something stopped me both times. I hate my parents and entire family. I don't have many friends that I actually like and trust (I only have 3). I'd say that's a great deal for someone who's not really in love with any of the bands or who maybe have kids or something. Is it okay to drink a fruit smoothie every day?
Here is what I use:

-The Magic Bullet
-I fill the attatchable cup about 2/3 full of frozen fuit (not the pre-packaged crap but like fresh fruit that I put in the freezer myself) some room temperature fruit and some refridgerated fruit.
-Blueberries, Bananas, Raspberries, Strawberries (sometimes i'll use all of these fruits, or i'll use just say for example strawberries and bananas.)
-I put a few scoops of Mountan High's vanilla yogurt
-A small splash of fruit juice

Is it okay if I have one of these everyday? Will it benefit my health in anyway? (weight loss, energy, overall health, etc)

No real reason, I was playing video games, then it was 4 am and I was like whatever I'll just stay up all night.

Now I have been tired and done things before with little sleep but today in math...

This was not unexpected and it just meant a crap day where I struggle to understand the following day what I should have learned in from my notes.

What was unexpected was out of the blue I felt like someone had given me a shot of adrenaline (what I imagine it would feel like). Nobody touched me or anything but as soon as you could snap your fingers I went from half asleep to wide awake. I hope the girl beside me didn't notice but I think for a few seconds I was trembling with um.... alertness? My world went from cloudy sleepiness to sharp for no reason?

Why did my body just get amped up like a bullet had just whizzed past me head or something?

I am a male, average weight, over 6 feet tall...

  I've felt the same thing doing that whole, awake for 48 thing, which is very lame indeed. I tend to go through phases of total alertness, which comes along with being rather snappy and quick to anger, and periods of total loss of brainwaves, where I go into sort of a trance. Also that cloudiness you speak of, where I find everything around me to be hilarious.
  I think it must be adrenaline, because when your body has no real energy to supply your mind with anymore, adrenaline would probably kick in and give you that boost you need to keep going. I don't think it's anything to worry about, Randy Gardner once stayed up for 266 hours and lived to tell the tale, after a nice 14 hour sleep. So you just enjoy that rest, man.

  Any good phrase or poem can be interpreted in many different ways! My personal view is that the poem can be read as a person contemplating death, or even perhaps suicide. The light could refer to life, the bullet and the bomb death or suicide. Many of the lines in the prose point to the thought of the inevitability of death, and how we want to keep our lights on, or at least the light it self want to stay on. Thats my short answer!

What do you think of my version of magical invulnerability?
The spell makes you invulnerable like Superman et al. It is a rune spell tattoo, the power comes from you. Everyday you don't use it, adds to it's strength, everything it stops, weakens it. If it stops a bullet, it loses the equivalent amount of power. How many bullets it can stop depends on how much power you have stored in the spell.

You can add to the charge one of 2 ways, just eating and sleeping like restoring any other energy. The second method is a ritual charging that is simple meditation while drawing the power of the living world through you.

Being what I call a baseline mortal, you would still need to eat, drink, sleep breath etc so you are vulnerable to poison, suffocation, just not physical or magical attacks, unless they are sufficiently powerful to overwhelm your spell.

QUESTION:
What's wrong with me - is this serious?
Hi, there are so many things going on in my life at the moment - all bad by the way! I have had a weird empty feeling for a few weeks now but I have felt seriously down for about 1 year on and off - sometimes to the extent where I have attempted suicide. When I haven't been feeling really down I am never happy just okay - not happy but not angry, upset, no emotions - just breathing to stay alive.
The past two months especially I think I have gotten a lot worse. I feel like crying nearly every night but then I am fine about ten minutes later - still think about stuff but not crying or wishing I was dead. In an average day I am stressed, depressed or "okay" (no emotions). Very rarely I am happy for example a few hours ago me and my parents played a board game and it was fun until my dad got drunk and it got too stressful explaining the game over and over again. If you click my profile you will be able to read my other questions which are in more detail about the problems but to save you the time I'll bullet point some below:
A lot of family problems
My dad is recovering from a very almost fatal brain hemorrhage
My mum gets stressed with him a lot
My grandparents were involved in a car crash two days ago - only minor and they are now both okay but I feel sort of guilty because I prayed for something to happen so I don't have to go to Cyprus with them next week
I feel so upset two years on after my puppy died - he was 9 years old but he's always going to be my little puppy - I feel so guilty that I wasn't there for him when he passed away ;'(
I only see my parents and my mum's parents - the rest haven't contacted us for over ten years after serious arguments, the rest live abroad - in America and Australia so they don't visit
I only have one proper friend in my life - well someone I talk to properly but she is in a younger year than me at school so I have to talk to these other twree people in my year so I have someone in some of my lessons
I am quite irritable lately too - quite = extremely
Both my parents drink quite large quantities of average strength lagers almost everyday - they are never abusive or anything but they do tend to bring up the past more if they have had a few beers.
I am going on holiday to cyprus with my grandparents next week for two weeks but I really really really!! don't want to go. There are a lot of reasons for this (whenever I think about the holiday I burst into tears - even now - and I have no idea why).
My friend most of the time talks to me about her problems but I never explain the full extent of mine to her
I am dreading going back to school because it's changing so much and I wasn't there on the last week on term when they explained everything
I am getting headaches more frequently recently - I never used to suffer from headaches, migraines etc
I have lost interest in most activities I did before for example Army cadets, talking to my friend etc
I hate my appearance - I feel I am eating a lot more than I used to
My parents have commented that I bite my nails a lot and I agree, I seem to be messing with either my hair, nails or biting my lip more recently - not sure why :
I sometimes have a loss of energy and I do get annoyed when I am sitting down on laptop and my mum calls me to do something or when my kitten meows for absolutely no reason
As I said before, I don't always have these feelings but I experience them for at least 4 hours of the day - most of the time longer - especially when I am by myself e.g. at night or when my parents are out
By the way, I am dreading the holiday so much that I am even considering meeting up with my friend tomorrow so that I can find a way to hurt myself badly enough that I end up in hospital so I can't go!
I think about death a lot - and I wish I could wake up in heaven so much instead of waking up each morning as me on Earth!
Sorry it was long but I thought it's best to mention all the symptoms so hopefully you can understand what's wrong with me better. So, any ideas what could be wrong or what I could do to stop feeling like this. To be honest though, I don't like feeling happy - I don't know why but I hate feeling cheerful and happy - but I also hate feeling this low too - would I be better off dead? I think I would!

  Scizor: Replace Swarm with Technician. The attacks are fine, but if you want to, you may replace X-Scissor with U-Turn. Also, since it's a Swords Dance set, replacing Brick Break with Superpower won't hurt.
  
  Togekiss: Fine.
  
  Garchomp: Replace Dragon Claw with Outrage. Serioussly, Outrage will ruin a lot of teams especially when you have Swords Dance up.
  
  Gengar: I think you should ditch out Energy Ball. Focus Blast and Thunder Bolt will take care most of them, though you may need to watch out for pokemon like Hippowdon. You might as well replace it with something which can help Gar survive longer, like Substitute. Seriously, the first three attacks are enough to stop a lot of threats.
  
  Milotic: Beware of other bulky pokemon such Swamperts and other Milotic. If you are fighting too many of them, remove one of the two attacks and replace with Hidden Power (Grass).
  
  Miltank: Will definitely be killed by status. Replace Thunder Wave with Heal Bell, since TWave won't be very useful since you don't have any slow sweepers other than Scizor, who can use Bullet Punch to make up for that low speed. Also, DON'T USE SCRAPPY ON THIS SET. It actually is weird since you make use of an offensive ability on a pokemon which won't be doing much damage. You won't even be attacking that much, and the other ability is much more useful. Guess what, it halves the damage done by Ice and Fire-type attacks.
  
  I can also say that you have too many sweepers, and not even some support to back you up. Yes, your walls can stand long, but once your sweepers are out, it's pretty much game over. Scizor has a 4x weakness against Fire, Chomp has a 4x weakness against Ice. Those are two attack types that most pokemon carry. Also, Gengar is a very frail pokemon. Only Togekiss is the one that does not have that much defensive issues. I suggest replacing one of your sweepers, probably Scizor (but if you're fighting in OU, you SHOULD ditch out Garchomp), and replace with a Wish Passer Vaporeon (a Wish Passer is a pokemon which uses Wish and then switches to the pokemon that the user wants to heal), or someone else who is bulky who can set up Stealth Rock. I know that Miltank already has Stealth Rock, but I think he should be replaced, primarily because his 105 base Defense won't be enough to stand the very offense based D/P metagame. I suggest you replace Miltank with Hippowdon, a pokemon with higher base stats in HP, Attack and Defense. He also can learn Stealth Rock and Roar, two moves that can annoy a lot of teams when combined. You might also want a revenge killer like Weavile, though it's not really that necessary.
  
  If you try to fight in the OU metagame, you will be seeing that you will have a hard time stopping offensive threats like Scizor, Infernape (since you're banned from using Chompy). If you've got a problem with Scizor, you can go for Hidden Power (Fire) on Gengar instead of Substitute. Just make sure that you won't switch in on a Bullet Punch, since Scizors can 2HKO Gar with an unboosted Technician Bullet Punch. Also, beware of a Swords Dance-boosted Bullet Punch, it can OHKO Gar. People may actually switch in Scizor and make enemies think that Scizor will go for an attack, so they switch to something else, only to find out that Scizor will use Swords Dance. Just remember to be cautious when people use Scizor since he is quite hard to take down without a Fire-type attack.
  
  You also got issues with Infernape. Although quite weak on the Defensive side, he's quite hard to take down, especially when you get intimidated by his offensive capabilities. Milotic can easily take him down with Surf, but beware. A well-predicted Grass Knot or Nasty Plot on an incoming Milotic will kill your team, since first of all, Ape can 2HKO Milotic with Grass Knot. Second, Ape can OHKO Milotic with a Nasty Plot-boosted Grass Knot. The suggested Hippowdon also won't make it alive. You might as well use Togekiss (most people have this mindset that if they encounter Ape, they switch to a water pokemon by default, even if they have someone with a Flying-type attack in their team) against Ape.
  
  I think there are still a lot of threats which I have not covered, so seek advice from other people.

Here's a short resume:
The Morgan’s lived in the heart of Montreal. 18 year old Dahlia and 20 year old twins Reed and Tate had been training together as death gods. With both parents being ex-death gods, the three siblings were doing well. All three were accepted into the American Soul Society as substitute-death gods
On Dahlia’s 18th birthday, she was driving with her friends at night, when the unthinkable happened; they were hit by a drunk driver. They were driving fast, and their vehicle went flying all over the street, crashing into six other cars, before finally tumbling into a ditch. The four girls in the car, including Dahlia, died instantly.
All of Dahlia’s friends went safely to Soul Society, but Dahlia lost her death god powers, and was planted to the earth. She was already a death god, and once death gods die, their gone. But because she was only a substitute-death god, her powers left her, and her soul went straight into hollowfication.
Her family found her the next day, and immediately got their mom, who was ex-captain of the 6th squad: the research and development squad. She immediately cut Dahlia’s chains from the ground and they brought her back home. Nadia, her mom, called the new captain of the research squad to help her. how do you know if you are allergic to Vicodin?
i was in school and i only took 2, i took them about a hour apart. i took the first one at 10:00 then at about 11:00 i got my blood pressure taken by the nurse and then as soon as the thing let off, an i pretty much got the highest i have ever been in my life, i had bad disorientation, i could barley see, let alone walk, i could not walk ina a straight line to save my life...but then i walked about 20 feat collapse then found a random burst of energy some how to make it to a the gym and crash there for about 30 seconds. i was sweating horribly and one of my friends came by and gave me a slushy to cool me off, if it wasn't for that slushy i would be in the hospital....but then i make it to lunch and decide to take another thinking it was only because of the blood pressure thing, then about another hour later, same thing, only in class, i was whiter then M.J . himself and i am a relatively tan person, then amazingly my luck a friend had a cold ice tea, witch may have saved my life once more... after i downed that i felt all better, and i didn't mention i did not eat anything at all through out the day, only stuff to drink, but both times after i felt better i was sweating bullets, for about 15-30 secs, both times it randomly hit me when i thought i felt best.....then after the episode happened i was back to the state i should of been in...any clue??? (never done it before, but done things way harder)

The other night I was at a friends. He lives next door to this guy that supposedly served years in prison and is supposedly really tough. At first we were hanging outside the garage. He was nice and then he started getting some drinks in. He started telling me about how he got in a fight with his other neighbors on the other side. And he said he smashed one of there faces in because one of the guys was fighting with his gf and he jumped into the fight and beat him up. Anyway after he told me all of this my mom calls me on my cell phone a little bit later and I told her id be home in a few. He gets in my face and hes like "you don't respect your mother, from what ive seen you don't" and im like "first of all I do respect my mother and I love her a lot" and he just keeps on saying "from what ive just seen you don't" and then after that I said "how is it even any of your business first off"

Afterwards he then says something like "oh so im not allowed to voice my opinion huh?" He pushes me into the wall after that. Then I remember exactly saying "Its none of your business what goes on in my life anyway, I don't want to hear your opinion. If you respected me as a person you would keep how you felt to yourself" Then after that he starts saying. "well why don't you stop using your energy on your fat mouth and do something" and im like "I don't want to fight with you, your 5 times bigger than me and im just a skinny young adult and im trying to do something good with my life other than get into fights" and then after that he goes "thats right your scared" and his girlfriend who is also an ex con comes over and gets in my face and says "if you ever talk sh*t to my man again ill have him phuck you up bad" then she says "you dodged a bullet there" and then I said "yeah I really dodged a bullet (in a sarcastic way)" she told him and he came back and knocked me out onto the grass. I woke up 30 minutes later and went home. I didn't tell my mother because I don't need her to worry. I have a black eye and beat up face, cuts everywhere but im just avoiding seeing my mother because I don't want her to know. I mean I know she cares about me but I don't need her to be upset. She works hard and I don't need her going to work stressed out.

I'm also the type of guy who doesn't like to fight back unless I completely have to. I mean if I can take a few punches in the face and avoid a situation. To me its much more mature than fighting back. When I woke up on the grass I sort of thought to myself I did the right thing by not fighting back. What I did not do right was when I tried to make a point by saying back to his gf that I didn't dodge a bullet. QUESTION:
A Question For Conservatives and Liberals...?
I'm sort of new to politics...i admittedly have been somewhat indifferent to politics most of my life, but i've come to realize with age that there's a responsibility to stay engaged on how the country is being governed...but first, i guess i have to figure out what i am...a conservative, or a liberal....please help me define what society would regard my beleifs as...

1.- I have a big problem taking my tax-money to give handouts to the capable, but i have no problem having a small amount of it taken to give the few of us who are certifiably incapable, a dignified life.

2.- I beleive war is neccesary at times, but only when truly backed into
a corner, and i beleive some insidious entities exist in this world
who benefit from war, and are chronically trying to make us think
we're in corners we're not in, so distinguishing true need from
untrue need can be very difficult in 2009.

3.- I don't want my freedoms and national culture overmanipulated by
the federal government and elected officials...but i'm equally fearful
of my freedoms and national culture being overmanipulated by
corporations and unelected CEO's and lobbyists.

4.- I don't have a problem with gay marriage between two consenting
adults. A law inhibiting the sanctification of two consenting adults
wishing to express love for each other, in a world rife with hatred,
violence, and death...seems to be the last thing we should be
worried about at this point in human history. And I don't buy the
"slippery slope" argument that 10 years later it'll be legal for
a pedophile to marry a toddler or a farmer to marry a cow, anymore
than legalizing alchohol has led to our schools giving our kids
Jim Beam as their lunchtime drink. Common sense limitations
will prevail, and 2 consenting adults wishing to sanctify their love
I feel falls within the realm of common sense.

5.- I beleive in the right for responsible gun owners to bare arms, but
I don't have a problem with limiting that right to individuals without
convictions of violent crimes, adults, and ammunition that in no
way is designed for mere self-protection, sport, or hunting...such as
cop killer bullets, bazookas, ground to air missle launchers, etc.
OBVIOUSLY sensible limitations on the destructive power of a
private citizen's weaponry has to exist, or otherwise a billionaire
citizen could own his own nuclear bomb if he could afford it, and i
don't think we want a world like that do we?

6.- Regarding abortion, I beleive in only limited legalization. I feel it
should be legal for minors, women who get corroborative diagnosis
on a condition that would endanger their lives if they brought the
baby to term, and women who get corroborative diagnosis for
a condition that would likely result in childhood death and/or lifelong
incapacitation of the unborn. I beleive when leading scientific data
has found to be the genesis of the human nervous system and
ability to compute pain on a concious level, thereafter in the
pregnancy process should abortion be illegal for healthy fetuses
being carried by healthy adult mothers. I am open to
compassionate yet effective means of prosecution within that
definition.

7.- Regarding global warming, and if it exists or not, I think 99% of people who are convinced it does or doesn't, are too scientifically ignorant to study the issue personally, thus they're relying on the heresay of those who fancy themselves "experts", which either side of that coin can be bought off to proclaim anything at all. That said, it seems that for every scientist stating it's myth, there's about 10 stating it's fact, and it seems a conversion over to energy production
that doesn't expose miners to collapses, homeowners to mine subsidence, and landscapes to flat-top mountain cutting such as in
West Virginia, is probably a good thing. It also seems rather wise to
not rely on a region of the world that despises us, for our energy. If we can prevent that in the short term by offshore drilling, I'm all for it. But it sure would be a nice bonus if we found a means of doing it that didn't include dotting our beautful ocean views with oil rigs, and/or opening up largescale oil operations in the last few unspoiled wildernesses America still has.

8.- I'm for the death penalty as an optional sentence for those convicted
of life imprisonment for murder. As an ethical view, i'm not for the
murder of a human life that is not presenting an imminent threat to
society, and considering most of our most heinous killers are in
federal supermax prisons, they no longer are doing that. That said,
if a criminal facing 50 years trapped in a tiny concrete cell 23 hours
a day wants to choose death instead? I'm all

This is a really serious issue we have here...?
My cousin, his wife, and his two children (ten and six) have been staying at my parent's house (where I live, since I'm 15) since the 31st of July. It is now the 1st of December. It has been four months, and they show no signs of leaving. Let me explain why they are here.

Four months ago they managed to leave Cuba based on political refuge. Our extensive family here decided that we were going to help them (and by help, they mean dump them on us and visit once in a while). Our parents decided that they would house them until they get jobs and can move out. Well, they planned on maybe two months. But first, the work permits took very long. Eventually, about a month ago, they both got jobs. Yet they're still staying.

Now here's the situation: I had to give them my room so they could live with us. I agreed because I thought it would be for a couple of months. Both my parents are saying, however, that even after FOUR months, they're staying for at least two more, making it officially at least half a year. When I gave them my room, I agreed to sleep in the office, which is a small, ten by ten room. There are two large computer desks, a filing cabinet, a night stand, all the movies, a tower, and three computer chairs in that room. I'm sleeping on an air bed. The room, even though I'm sleeping in it, is still being used as an office, meaning there are people in it ALL THE TIME and I don't have anywhere to go. I have three drawers and half a closet for all my clothes. The closet is brimming with storage things like a piano, another filing cabinet, boardgames, and various other things. The closet is also tiny.

All four of them are sleeping in my room, where more than half of my stuff still is. They have my computer. The youngest one is constantly eating and drinking in there, and we have hardwood floors. In case you didn't know, food and liquid can permanently damage hardwood floors. He is also constantly throwing things on the floor, leaving dents. Neither of his parents ever discipline him, so he has no respect whatsoever. He will literally yell back and kick and scream and disobey whatever you say. The older one is more calm, but she doesn't understand the meaning of punishing. Whenever my sister and I try to punish the younger one for being highly disrespectful (using his toy gun to throw bullets at people's faces, calling everyone fat, stupid monkeys, taking our stuff gleefully, ect.) she immediately comforts him and gives him whatever she wants. I know she's a good kid at heart, but she doesn't understand that her brother is literally spoiled rotten to the core. It's hard to describe his atrocity.

Neither of his parents understand and rarely take action against the kids. They allow them to watch obscene movies and TV shows in front of OUR TV for hours on end. They allow them to use OUR Wii without permission (if it were up to me, which it should be, no six year old would be allowed to USE a Wii), and use all our computers endlessly.

I cannot stand sleeping on an air mattress any longer. I have nowhere to do my homework, there is never peace and quiet, and now I hate being in my house. The parents always comment on everything we do and make us uncomfortable in our own home. And when asked why it appeared that they weren't looking for an apartment, my cousin said that he was worried that he would be fired and wouldn't be able to pay for it. To me that sounds like an excuse, because people do that every day.

They are living under our house, using our resources, wasting our water and energy (because they use highly energy-inefficient things like hair dryers daily for thirty minutes each), and live under their OWN rules. Is it right of them to intrude upon this house any longer, or do you think four months of this ungratefulness is enough?

  Hey I suggest you do a couple things, Sit your parents down with this post and let them know how bad this is demand that they clear up all that extra crap in the "office" which is now your room so that you have space, stop using it as an office tell them to move all that crap into thier room, it's clear that they are not overly inconvenienced like you are. Secondly tell them you are going to your school counselor and asking them to call social services, child welfare whoever it is in your state, you have too many people in the house and not enough places to sleep. Warning you may in fact be placed in foster care. (i'm a foster parent) Your parents have taken their good deed as far as it needs to go, They must set a firm date and stick to it. For example You people need to be out by January 1st and then call all the other soooo helpful relatives and tell them, Come get them or clear out the basement because helping someone is not worth ruining our house and our lives.
