Do Energy Drinks Work

WHAT IS EFUSJON?

Efusjon is a network marketing club with independent distributors who market a line of super healthy energy drinks made with all-natural ingredients and no preservatives or additives.

There are 3 levels of involvement. You can become a Member for $30 and earn a commission when customers order products from your replicated website.

Efusjon Independent Distributors an upgrade to an Associate, and start building an organization and getting paid on your team's growth.

Once you've enrolled 3 people as an Associate, you will be promoted to an Executive. As an Executive you receive 4.25% of total sales volume for each active, personally enrolled Associate plus your Associate's down lines, every month.

The company recommends you start with a $120 order, which gets you a replicated website and your initial supply of the drink itself, four 12-packs at 8.4 ounces each.

Efusjon Independent Distributors receive their Efusjon energy drink orders on a monthly basis, and they can choose between 2 products - RAW, without caffeine, or EDGE, with caffeine.

POSITIVES:

There are 3 things I really like about this company: They have a great leadership team in place, there's a lot of money backing their efforts, and they bring a unique and competitive product to market.

The Efusjon Founder Robert Towles is a well respected businessman who's put together a strong executive team with a proven track record of success.

The Efusjon energy drink concept is simple - and smart. What if someone produced an energy drink that's actually healthy?

Know how most energy drinks like Rock Star and Red Bull are nothing but sugar and chemical additives, basically aliquid deatha in a can?

The Efusjon approach is to offer a drink that supplies the same energy boost without all the crap. They replace sugar and additives with natural healthy ingredients like acai berry and mangosteen.

On the business side of things, Efusjon has an interesting compensation plan, called a Community Forced Matrix Plan, where all members help fill the matrix for those below and beside them.

When you get 3 people to join, you become part of the overall matrix.

There are no initial payments for sponsoring a new member, but you do get paid monthly on everyone in the matrix, whether you personally enroll them or not.

The hope is that this will create a strong residual income and a team atmosphere of support.

One of the most exciting elements of the Efusjon business plan is their use of social media as part of their marketing. On July 22 they launched a Facebook application, a game called aRADa, and there's an iPhone app as well.

The goal is to market Efusjon to the massive Facebook audience while educating folks on the healthy, anti-oxidant properties of Efusjon VS the other energy drinks.

Using Social Media is a sharp move and shows the company agets ita in terms of modern marketing techniques.

But how does that help you build your business?

If you're considering Efusjon or you're already an Efusjon

Independent Distributor, you need to ask yourself this: how can you be successful as an Efusjon distributor?

I'm not talking about vague generalities or motivational prattle. You need a real plan.

That means a series of practical, do-able, nuts-and-bolts steps you can take easily and immediately to get real results.

NEGATIVES:

Although the company has taken a modern approach to social media, when it comes to individual distributors, Efusjon is no different from most network marketing companies.

There's no effective marketing strategy in place.

And there's no one to teach new reps how to market online.

Let's be honest. Efusjon Independent Distributors need to get your a3a ASAP and build a sizable downline to start making any real money.

How do you plan to do that?

Efusjon will tell you the same old tired story: contact friends and family members, do home meetings, hand out fliers & business cards, make a list of 100 people you know - anything to get your "3".

You can either work your warm market or buy leads and make cold calls. And neither one of those methods work. That's the main reason most new reps fail miserably and quit the business in their first 90 days.

The idea is, you geta3a who get a3a who get a3a - etc. - and pretty soon you're rich!

Except that kind of math only works on a calculator and in pipe dreams.

Here in the real world, either you have a proven strategic marketing plan in place to generate fresh targeted leads and get Efusjon in front of your target audiencea

Or you don't.

CONCLUSION:

Efusjon energy drink is a solid product, and it appears to be a lucrative opportunity for the right Efusjon Independent Distributors.

This could be a very profitable business and a cool way to make a living - if you know how to market effectively.

Otherwise - you could be looking at a long tough grind.

If you're a motivated marketer the solution is simple.

Start leveraging the power of the internet and learn how to market your Efusjon business online.

There are proven methods to drive targeted leads to you business who already want what you have to offer. It's not that difficult once you have someone to show you the ropes.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
Do Red Bull and other energy drinks work?
Do energy drinks such as Red Bull work? Also what are the best ones? (Performance wise rather than taste)
Do energy drinks give you sustained energy (hours) or just a few minutes?

    • ANSWER:
To answer your question.. literally... they do work.. but not the way that most people think. Red Bull and other energy drinks like monster, rock-star, throttle and all those work by mixing caffeine or other similar ingredients of caffeine with a lot of sugar making you hyper for a little moment ( 4 to 6 minutes) depending on your weight. But they do make you ''Crash'' ( Psychological and Physical exhaustion) for like 1 to 3 hours ( NOT GOOD) If you want a better drink that makes you more alert and gives you energy, try the 5 hour energy drink. I've used it and it really works without the crash effects.

      Hope it Helped!

  2. QUESTION:
How do energy drinks work exactly?
I use Monster on a regular basis, but I don't understand why I feel so great after drink one.

Also, I often get a headache after drinking coffee, but could it be related to making my coffee very strong?

Also, is it possible to get strongly addicted to Monster or other energy drinks?

Also, does anyone have an experienced opinion (somone having drunk Monster on several occasions) on what energy drink has the best effects and least side effects, etc.

Does anyone know why caffeine pills make me feel terrible/anxious?

Please do not advise me to stop drinking Monster or other energy drinks please.

    • ANSWER:
Energy drinks are full of both caffeine and sugar...
Sugar and caffeine are both addictive, and can cause withdrawal symptoms.
Some symptoms of withdrawal are anxiety, headache and nausea.

Sometimes caffeine pills make you feel anxious because the caffeine is keying you up, and you have no way of stopping it.

Normally your body generates a heightened state of awareness in response to danger or stress, and when the danger is gone it shuts it off.

Caffeine works like this, heightening your alertness, but there is no way for your body to turn it off - until it wears off.

Some energy drinks hide their active ingredient by telling the name of the plant that it came from, or using another name. An example is Yerba Matte. This is chemically similar to caffeine, and is just as addictive.

  3. QUESTION:
    How do energy drinks work?
I dig Monster, but how does it compare to other energy drinks?

    • ANSWER:
Energy drinks pump you with caffeine and most have some kind of citrus extract in it.
All that caffeine is the main ingredient that forces you awake. For me, I can swallow 2 caffeine tablets and gulp down a coupla' energy drinks and I'd still sleep like a log.

  4. QUESTION:

But lately the house gets cleaned, laundry and cooking done, but takes me the whole day. Sometimes I see myself up at 3am trying to finish cleaning the house. I have six month old, how long before I get back my energy? or is there any energy boosters, monster, red bull and rooster do nothing for me.

I'm not too sure about caffeine pills, but they can be equivalent to two cups of coffee and one may get a faster heartbeat than usual (which can be dangerous for some). couldn't sleep for 24 hours ... yet not really aware what's going on around me!!

So, what's going on? ... i mean, how is it working ?!

    • ANSWER:
The main ingredient in energy drinks is caffiene. caffiene blocks the signals that go to your brain that tell you to sleep.

Like basicly caffiene is similarly structured to your sleepy signals so your brain confuses the caffiene with the sleepy signals and the caffiene signals dont really put you to sleep so your blocking your sleep receptor things!

and then theres sugar which peps you up a bit and some other stuff. Energy drinks are so fun to drink but really bad for you.

  14. QUESTION:
    Do energy drinks work instantly?
Considering how long it takes to digest food. I hear it takes up to an hour to "really" work and our minds just "think" that the stuff works right away.

    • ANSWER:
Not instantly, but the rate of absorption is a lot quicker than food and I think that it would take at least 5 minutes to work and probably 15 minutes at most, this depends on what kind of energy drink it is, also if it is warm or refrigerated. Refrigerated beverages have to warm up before they can be absorbed into the bloodstream, therefore it would take less time for a warm energy drink to work. But if you want my opinion the best form of energy is complex carbohydrates, found in pasta and bread.

It’s nice that you don’t have to drink a whole cup of a coffee or a big canned energy drink to have more energy and get the caffeine. The extra strength flavors I use a lot before I work out, they give me that extra boost I need to really get the most out of my work out so they would probably be a good choice before football practice too. I try to buy them in bulk, at like Wal-Mart so that it isn’t so expensive!

i havent gotten much sleep this week (3 hours, then 8, then 7, then like 6) last night i went to bed at 11.45pm, and even tho i was really tired i was lying there for almost an hour before i finally fell asleep. then i woke up like 3 times in the middle of the night.

right now i am really tired and need to finish an assignment in a few hours. i bought 2 cans of red bull and have drunk one and i know it doesnt kick in straight away but im not feeling any less tired im just starting to get a headache. the last time i had energy drinks when i was like this i had 2 v's and im pretty sure they just gave me a headache too.

so do energy drinks work for you? if so which ones? i have only tried V and red bull and V tastes like absolute cr*p. i also hate coffee and i cant sleep right now so thats not an option. any tips for being less tired? does tea help at all?
i generally eat pretty healthy and get atleast 5 hours of exercise a week. im looking for a quick fix atm.

    • ANSWER:
For your immediate problem, try eating something sugary and drinking a lot of tea (which unfortunately is pretty much what a Red Bull supplies mixed together in a can - not tea but caffeine). This will either give you enough stimulation to keep your eyelids propped open or knock you out if you're sensitive to caffeine.

For the long term, the answer above is better.

I was wondering how energy drinks work? Why they are bad for you (short term and long term effects)? and What are some other things you do to give you energy when you need it?
What are some other things you can do if you need enerrgy?

    • ANSWER:
The baddest thing about energy drinks is people don't realise how many calories are in them. A redbull or mother is like eating 8 hotdogs for someone who doesn't exercise. Because they're a drink you might have more than one a day, that's a lot of calories.

  35. QUESTION:
Does Celsius the energy drink work?
Compared to other energy drinks and pills is it better? Do you feel edgy and anxiety from it? Does it give you a huge boost when you work out? What is in it? Do you really burn off 100 calories after taking it?

    • ANSWER:
you don't burn 100 calories by drinking it. That's a myth. It's like any other energy drink, with lots of sugar....
The media is hooked on "dieting" and wanting to stay "in shape."
therefore, they hooked this energy drink up with dieting, trying to make it sound good, even though it's the same as a monster energy drink. Maybe not AS MUCH sugar. but still... a lot of sugar.
And I'm sorry about all the stupid people on here you have posting about "acia berry" frankly none of us give a care about "acia berry."

  39. QUESTION:
    Do sprots/energy drinks really work?
I am wondering about drinks such as red bull, monster energy etc. Are these proven to increase energy? What are the negative aspects of these and similar drinks? Just curious... Thanks!
What about dietary supplements to increase energy? (not necessarily to lose weight.)

    • ANSWER:
In a way they are proven to increase energy. Energy drinks contain caffeine the same as coffee or tea which provides a slight increase in heart rate and blood pressure. It speeds up your brain function slightly, making you more alert. It will also stimulate the body to burn more calories (most protein drinks contain caffeine). The problem is the large amount of sugars in these drinks. The sugars are simple carbohydrates which the body can quickly break down into blood sugar which means easy access to energy for muscles. Unfortunately if all your muscles are doing at the time is preventing you head from tipping forward into your keyboard then that glucose is sent straight to cellulite city. The short term energy boost from the sugar is, well… short term and you will end up feeling increasingly tired as your body signals that it isn’t using energy stores and slows production of glucose. So for energy try slow burning carbs such as oatmeal, a quick jog up some stairs or plain black coffee.

If that isn’t enough to scare you off. An article in Men’s Health tells of a study completed by the University of Maryland in which they soaked teeth for two weeks in different drinks to observe the deterioration it caused. #2 on the list was good old Red Bull which gives you wings but removed 21 milligrams per square centimeter of enamel.

Sports drinks, such as Poweraide, contain sucrose, which is great for energy during long workouts and electrolyes for rehydrating the body quickly. But you should really stick to water, unless you workout is more than an hour.

  40. QUESTION:
    Do energy drinks work well?

    • ANSWER:
They can, but if you are very, very over tired they won't really do much other that give you a headache, and or make you nauseous. They are great for some energy though, and drink fast, don't sip.

  41. QUESTION:
Why don't energy drinks work on me?
I've tried most of the major ones, have tried drinking them at different times of the day, drinking after eating or on an empty stomach, all in one sitting or gradually over a period of time. But I do not drink them frequently at all, and aside from them, I don't drink coffee or tea or take any sort of energy supplement, so there's no way I've built any sort of tolerance toward them. Usually I go with a 16 oz can. Still, I feel pretty much the exact same as before I drank it: bored and unenthused. Is this even possible?
I have to say I'm frustrated with this problem moreso because I have friends who drink the same exact drinks I'm consuming and they excitedly tell me how great they work for them!

    • ANSWER:
OK a few things can cause this.

Caffeine does not work as a stimulant on everyone. Some people get no results from it.

If you have ADD or ADHD the caffeine and B vitamins balance the mind rather than stimule it. Even people with autism have shown improvements rather than get an energy boost from caffeine and B vitamins.

You need to be properly hydrated. Caffeine dehydrates us. When we are dehydrated we feel tired and lethargic. If you feel tired drink 2 glasses of water. If you feel better after 15 minutes then you were dehydrated, not tired. Many people don't know this and drink caffeine if they feel tired. This makes it worse.

  45. QUESTION:
    do energy drinks actually work?

the first time i drank red bull, it worked but it doesn't anymore.

    • ANSWER:
Sure they do. But for people that use it all of the time one won't do it. Just like folks who drink coffee all of the time. Their body gets use to it so it takes more. Same thing when people drink alcohol. At first they can drink one and later they can have several without any ill effects.

If used as intened, only as a boost when needed then nobody would have this problem. But people don't seem to grap the idea of moderation or using stuff as intended. Red Bull recommends only 1 to 2 a day. The 2nd largest energy drink, which is also the 1st and largest healthy energy drink, XS Energy, also recommends having 1 a day and no more than 2.

If you drink plenty of water it will provide a boost of energy and increase your motabolism by 3%. I drink 2 glasses first thing when I get up. We need 1 ounce for every 2 pounds of body weight plus 8 more ounces for every 20 minutes of exercise. With hot/dry days and climates even more is needed. When we are dehydrated we become tired. Caffeine and alcohol both dehydrate so you can't count those towards water intake.

Also proper nutrition will also increase energy levels. You need a good quality supplement though. Most of the stuff in the stores simply is not worth the money. The RDA/RDI was set up as minimum amounts to prevent nutritional deficiency diseases. For optimal health including energy and alertness we need more.

There is the caffeine trap too. Many peopl get too much and not enough water. So they get dehydated and become tired. When they are tired they think the answer is more caffeine. What they really need is more water and it actually will wake them up too.

  46. QUESTION:
Do energy drinks really work? Which ones are best?
I start a new job training tonight from 11pm-7am..then I have another 1 day job from 9am-2pm. I am probably gonna have a hard time staying awake. I bought a rockstar energy drink and starbucks double shot coffee+energy. Are these any good? Also will I just loose energy and fall asleep at some point?

    • ANSWER:
Energy drinks ~ sugary coffee. They offer similar levels of stimulants (caffeine) and cheap calories (sugar). They do work, but just how well they work depends more on the fine details of your metabolism than the drink you choose. You'll need to carefully manage the caffeine crashes.

  47. QUESTION:
Does monster energy drink work to give me energy?
So I posted a question the other day of how to have energy, so is monster okay? Will it be enough?
I don't care if I crash after, I get to sleep right after.

    • ANSWER:
It will give you an energy boost, but you will probably have an energy crash from all the caffeine and sugar. If you want a boost that won't crash, take vitamins or supplements.

  49. QUESTION:
Does a five hour energy drink work?
I'd debating taking a 5 hour energy when I get home from work at 6. I have a baseball game at 8:30. Should I take the 5 hour energy before baseball? Will it affect my game? If so, what else should I take?

    • ANSWER:
Do you mean those small bottles that have 8000% of a certain vitamin? Yes that will certainly affect your game. Those are really bad for your liver and kidneys. Those will not give you the proper substinence you need. Eat something full of carbohydrates - pasta would be a good choice. Good luck.

  50. QUESTION:
DO ANY OF THE ENERGY DRINKS REALLY WORK?
I work graveyard shifts and I have to be alert at all times. I sleep all day and work all night. I hate when I get home I just crash which is about 7:30am and i wake up in time to go to work which is 11pm. I really hate wasting days like that. I tried redbull but that does nothing for me. So if anybody has tips for me it would be appreciated but please don't tell me to quit or anything ignorant. thanks!

    • ANSWER:
The toughest part of working midnights is getting a day off. It throws your body off if you try to revert to a 'normal' schedule for those days, so resist the temptation to do so. If you have to be alert at all times, that does drain your energy more.

If you use an energy drink, make sure that it is caffeine free. I never used those at all. I used food as a source of energy. Trail mixes, with your favorite combination of nuts and fruit, are an excellent source of energy. Pace yourself with a cup of trail mix, spreading it throughout the night as it is high in calories. To make it go farther, add 1/2 cup of Fiber One cereal to one cup of the trail mix. That will help to regulate your body, also. Drink plenty of water, especially if using the fiber.

If you can take a twenty minute nap during your lunch hour, do so. Make certain to set every alarm on your cell phone so that you wake up in time. Don't be afraid to ask a co-worker to call you, either. That nap will really energize you.

Don't eat your lunch until late in your shift. When you do so, eat light. Fruit salad, vegetable salad, cheese, hard boiled eggs and crackers are what you want to eat. Stay away from heavy meals such as roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy. They will put you to sleep. Resist the temptation to eat when you arrive home from work. That will tire you out more.

Lastly, you have to incorporate discipline. Though your body might want to sleep for twelve hours, don't let it. Wear a light blocking mask over your eyes and set your alarms fifteen minutes earlier every night or go to bed fifteen minutes later each day.

One of the bad habits that folks on midnights often pick up is to change their sleep pattern each day depending on the activities of others. You can't do that. You have to take care of yourself first. Decide if you want more awake time in the morning, immediately after work, or do you want it in the evening, before going to work? You may make an exception for your occasional doctor appointment, but that's it.

Just like on the airplane, you need to take care of yourself before you can take care of others. Good luck to you and enjoy the tranquility of the shift!
