    i make decal sticker and sell them online. i want to sell monster energy drink logos and sell them, but i don't know if it is copy right . how can i find out if it is or not? thanks

      Trademarks (like product logos) are almost always protected by copyright. If you wanted to sell stickers (or other merchandise) with such logo you'd have to license it.

    im 14, i like snowboarding companies and think it looks cool to pu there stickers on my ugly snowboard and at my local snowboard shop, most of the time they just kick us out because we annoy them since we never buy anything more than a dollar and most of the good stickers they have are three dollars or more.

    I'm 12 years old and I just started to drink Monster's. I'm drinking the imported ones(with the sticker) and I was just wondering if it's bad for me. I drank one 2 day ago and it was really good and then I'm drinking one right now. They are really good, it's not gonna be like cigerettes to me. What if I drink one every two days?       It's only illegal if you use Monster energy drink logo without the companies permission. The logo is a registered trademark of monster energy drinks or whoever owns them. You could be sued and ask to pay the company damages as well remove the item from your inventory.

      First of all, the "little thing with the monster logo you use to open it" is called a tab.
      && secondly, I highly doubt its true that if you send in 1k monster tabs they will give you a sticker. It would cost about two thousand [plus] dollars less to just go buy the stupid sticker, instead of buying a thousand monsters.

    What are copyright laws on using a company's logo for a sticker?
    Me and a friend are thinking about starting a sticker company and were wondering what the laws were on using another company's logo for a sticker. Such as the Monster Energy Drink logo and selling it online and such. Do I have to get a waver or something of that sort?

      You have to get written permission to use a trademarked logo.
      For a company like Monster Energy Drink, it is doubtful they would give you permission for free. Instead they would want to create a licensing agreement which means you pay them money and they give you permission to use their logo.

    possible to make food packaging all the same? waste less energy?
    I had a thought while i finished a drink i had just bought at a convenience store. I was looking at the nutritional value and i noted that the drink provided me with 150 calories of energy. This then lead me to start thinking about the conservation of energy and how a lot more energy was wasted for me to receive that 150 calories of energy, which my body would use for fuel. Energy costs such as the transportation to get the drink there to the store, the machines to package the drink, and especially the plastic bottle which the drink came in itself, ends up being wasted energy once i throw it away and it ends up in a landfill somewhere.

    So it got me to thinking of ways to reduce this wasting of energy, especially in the packaging aspect. and so i was wondering why all containers for foods and drinks couldn't all be the same. For example, make it all kind of like those pouches the astronauts use in space that is just enough to cover the volume the food or drink takes up. that way the packaging on foods and drinks would just be the minimum required to contain them, and therefore, less wasted materials and energy. Added bonus if this material where also biodegradable. finally, companies would then just add a sticker or label (again biodegradable variety) on the packaging for consumers to identify them.

    Also, one side note, I wouldn't stress the biodegradable aspect of it much because it might require more money to produce, in research costs, lack of economies of scale, etc. which would probably end up wasting more energy than how things are now.

      Unfortunately, many won't. Brand differentiation is a key component in competitive advantage. A larger box makes it look like it has more stuff. A curvy package (Coke, for example) may be THE identifying trait of a product/brand. Blister packs are made to discourage in-store theft. If you look at the "no frills" brands like the America's Choice and Kirkland, the stores buy these from the same producers/suppliers as many name brands, and just change the colors on the packages. DVDs, software, and batteries all tend to conform to the same size as well. The idea of less packaging is the key here, and most companies are looking for ways to do so as their competitive advantage. IKEA designs their packaging to minimize material and package size. The Costcos and Sam's Clubs focus on bulk sizes to reduce waste from individual packaging. At a commercial level, we talk in terms of nondescript standard crates, cases or even shipping containers, and not boxes or packs. Commercial grade packaging is reduced to monochromatic text labeling of product ID and tracking data, with no consumer info or eye-catching designs at all.

      As for the expense of innovation - if you do not invest in research, then we would not have refrigeration, plastics, or even those drink pouches. Even that astronaut packaging was bleeding edge at the time they were invented - talk about expensive! Imagine that we used a load of PhD's to custom mold the containers, engineer the sealing to prevent leakage in a vacuum, develop ways of preserving the food as well as keeping it tasty and easy to prepare, and also easy to handle and eat from. And they were not even re-usable!

    Alright so on Thursday of last week these three guys came to our mall to get people to take portraits. Their cart was right next to ours and i thought that one of the guys was really cute. My best friend and i work together and so we were being dorky and retarded like we always are and i noticed him laughing when i said something stupid. Well a little while later he came up to me and introduced himself to me and not to my friend but i think that was because she was helping out a customer. Well we just kinda talked a little here and there. The next day i went to work again and a co worker of his told me that i looked really good that day not that i didn't look good the day before but it was just that i put on a dress and heels.(he said all that) So i told him thanks and the guy that told me that is like in his early thirties so i know he wasn't trying to hit on me or anything. But than i noticed that after that the guy i think is cute kept staring at me. Well my friend had to leave because of something so i was working alone and i was bored so the guy i like came up to me and was talking to me the entire time. He told me that we should switch jobs and maybe i could attract a lot of guys for him but it was a joke. A little later that day this one girl just randomly walked up to him and started talking to him. I was ok with it but my friend thought it would be funny if i started flirting with the guy while that girl was over there so i just asked him if he had some 5's cuz we needed some and he walked over to my cart and just started talking. He told me he wanted to go watch the hangover and i think he was hoping for me to say me too but i didnt. Well when he walked back to his cart that girl invited him to go watch Drag Me To Hell with her but i didn't hear if he said yes or not. The next morning i saw him and i asked him what he did the night before and he told me he went to the movies with that girl but he couldn't even remember her name. So i was kinda jealous but that was my fault. Anyways that day i was super tired and i was practically falling asleep. He was like "Do you want me to buy you a energy drink or something cuz you look like your about to fall asleep" and i said no thanks cuz im trying to stop drinking energy drinks. Well a little later he went somewhere and came back with like these mermaid stickers and he was like "here you go, i got you something to do". I messed it up but i kept it cuz i thought it was really sweet of him to be considerate enough. So a little while later i was doodling on a paper and he walked up and looked at my doodling and just started laughing. He told me to draw a portrait so i decided to draw one of him. The picture i drew of him looked pretty funny but he told me he liked it. He then told me that he wanted a picture of me by his. I wanted to see what he would draw so i told him to draw me. The picture didn't look much better than mine but i could tell he actually tried. And after he was done i gave him the paper and he told me he would cherish it. Well than came sunday and that was the day they were going to leave. He was like "your not tired again are you"? And i said no. He told me that he just stayed at the motel room and watched movies. So i was like good thing that he didn't go out with that girl again. They day passed and he left and i was sad. But do you guys think he likes me or not really?

Well his co worker said i looked really good and he just kinda gave his co worker a dirty look. Well that day my co worker left so i was bored n he talked to me almost the entire time.
