  Most regular energy drinks have 110 to 140 calories per serving. 1,000 calories is unrealistic in just 1 or 2 cans and would take a lot to get there. By then you would have overdosed on caffeine and also severe dehydration from the caffeine giving you headaches and muscle/body aches and pains too. So why bother?
  
  It would actually be safer to drink sodas to reach 1,000 calories as they have less caffeine.

I seem to gag and even throw up when i drink energy drinks now. Why?
I used to be able to guzzle down huge cans of monster/rockstar and even redlines but now it seems everytime i drink at least half of any 16fl oz drink i tend to gag like 15 mins later. This isnt just limited to the energy drinks listed above i just drank half of a vitamin energy and i just threw up a little. What the hell is happening?

  You might have an intolerance for one of the ingredients. High fructose corn syrup is a common culprit (my husband can't keep stuff with HFCS down) Or it could be caffeine, or even a very cold temperature of the drink.
  
  If you have, or develop, a similar problem swallowing other fluids or foods, see a doctor ASAP. You might also have a hiatal hernia (I probably spelled that wrong). That's when the top part of your stomach slips up through the hole in your diaphragm (the hole is called the hiatus) causing a constriction. Actually, you may want to see a doctor anyway. Just in case.
  
  In the mean time (like I have to tell you...) stick to stuff you can keep down and take small sips.

Apparently, guarana seeds contain more caffeine than coffee beans. Monster and Rockstar both have 160mg of caffeine per can. Just wondering, does that number include the caffeine found in guarana?

I bought a questionable energy drink (Tweaker) that was on sale. I usually keep it safe with 5 Hour Energy, but I wanted to see if there were any other cheaper substitutes. It came with a long list of warnings, and this one struck me as really odd. Why is this warning here? Is it because of a risk of a heart attack? I couldn't find an answer anywhere.

  it's like getting on a rollercoaster and the sign says 'don't get on if you are pregnant' which basically means - this isn't good for you - but you've read the sign so it's your problem now if anything happens etc etc
  
  'energy drinks' are a joke you are just taking caffeine and sugar mixed with some factory by-product flavouring that they would normally pour down the drain but have found a market for (you)

  Trust me he didn't get banned for using an energy drink. He just says that so he has some sort of defense against being suspended and/or fined. He may have truly taken something over the counter without knowing, but it for sure wasn't any kind of energy drink.

  I thought they tasted pretty good. They have a specific taste but there are different flavours. I personally don't drink them anymore because they made me to wired, but I don't even enjoy coffee. I would just be careful and drink them as minimal and possible.
