Everybody should detoxify their bodies once in a while. Impurities and toxins accumulate in the blood over time. If they are not removed, they could cause adverse health problems. This is where detoxification comes in. And if you're looking for an effective detox plan, Omni Detox might just be the answer.
Today's world requires detox. With the food starting to be less natural, toxins are slowly becoming a part of daily life. Preservatives are almost a staple. Nutrition is ignored and convenience is the priority. This bad practice would take its toll on your health eventually. As toxins build up, diseases become rampant and life spans get shorter.
To help you detoxify your body, take Omni Detox. It is a specially formulated drink that is tasked to clear your the body of impurities. Many people have tried it and they claim that it works. It is deemed safe to use too. To obtain its health benefits, drink it daily. Regular intake would make your body cleaner and healthier.
Omni Detox is sold in bottles. Each bottle is equivalent to one serving. Drink the entire content within thirty minutes to achieve the best effect. The idea is to administer the drink's active ingredients inside your body all at one. Once in, they would all work together to eliminate the toxins they encounter along the way. Omni Detox can also revitalize your body while cleansing it naturally.
Only people with no health concerns may take Omni Detox, as some medicines may not work well with it. If you really want to use it, you have to check with a doctor first. Let the health practitioner decide whether the drink will be beneficial for you or not. Omni Detox is very safe to use. But then, its effect on a person's underlying health concern may be less than desirable.
However, Omni Detox can't do the job on its own. It is best that you help it by changing your lifestyle. Detoxifying your body is good if and only if you stop putting toxins to it. Smoking, alcohol, and eating processed foods are not going to help much. Therefore, you have to avoid them. Lead a healthy lifestyle. This way, the effects of Omni Detox is maximized.
Take Omni Detox before meals. You are not supposed to eat or drink anything a few hours before taking it. You can drink water, but you should minimize doing so. In a matter of a week, you will feel the effects of Omni Detox in your body. You will reap the positive effects of the product if you use it as desired. The direct result of using it regularly as necessary is that you'll feel more active, less sickly, and highly rejuvenated.
If you want to have a healthier and cleaner system, start detoxifying your body. Compared to detox diets and all other detoxifying meal plans, this one is the simplest way to do it. Get rid of your body toxins fast and easy. Maybe all you need is a health drink.

QUESTION:
healthy drink?
ok im starting to become a pretty serious work out person but i still drink soda. i was just wondering if there was a good drink that taste good and is good for you and maybe something that you can drink when you run. please help-
ANSWER:
Water is still the best option. If you are doing long workouts, say over 1.5 hours, you can do an electolyte replacement such as propel, powerade, gatorade, or hydrade. There is some research that says add a little protein powder in your electolyte drink too to help rebuild the muscle. Accelerade is one product like that but has a chalky flavor to it.Soda is just empty calories which will detract from your workout.
Good Luck!

QUESTION:
What are some Healthy Drink Alternatives?
I know water and milk are good for you but if they are your only two choices when it comes to making a healthy decision on what to drink then other beverages like sodas and sugary juices becoming tempting. What are some good ideas for healthy drinking.-
ANSWER:
Teas are always good alternatives. Green or black, iced or hot. Just skip the sugar. Instead, add lemon or lime to it to give it a little tang. There is a growing body of evidence that both green and black teas have both anti-cancer and weight-loss benefits. In the case of black tea, a recent study showed that regular, daily consumption of black tea reduced cortisol levels in the subjects tested. Cortisol is hormone that the body produces when under stress and elevated cortisol levels can cause the body to store or hang on to existing fat. Additionally, cortisol tends to cause the body to store fat in the middriff and abdominal area, which can put you at greater risk for heart disease (and, of course, it doesn't look very attractive, either.)
Another study found that habitual tea drinkers demonstrated lower longterm overall body fat levels than non-drinkers. Specifically, habitual tea drinkers for more than 10 years showed a 19.6% reduction in body fat percentage and a 2.1% reduction in waist-to-hip-ratio compared with nonhabitual tea drinkers.
There is also evidence that green tea can promote fat metabolism and promote thermogenesis. Of course, it's also extremely high in anti-oxidents which may also prevent free-radical damage and protect against certain cancers.
Finally, you might also consider sparkling waters like Perrier for a little bit of fizz, without the calories and sugar of soda. A slice of lemon or lime can also liven them up. If the price tag bugs you, you can always buy 2 liters of Faygo sparkling water, which is basically water with CO2 added to it to make it fizzy like soda. It doesn't have the mineral content of Perrier, but it is an less expensive alternative that still tastes good. You can buy it flavored as well.
One last warning. You might be tempted to substitute diet sodas for the real thing. Try to avoid it. There is research that suggests consumption of diet sodas (especially those containing Nutrasweet/aspertame) may actually cause people to gain weight.
Sharon P. Fowler, MPH, and colleagues at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio found that there was a 41 percent increase in risk of being overweight for every can or bottle of diet soft drink a person consumes each day. The reference to the study is below.
Best of luck!

QUESTION:
Is the new all natural snapple a healthy drink?
I used to drink the old diet peach and raspberry Snapple, but once I found out there was aspartame in it I stopped drinking it. Now they have come out with the all natural Snapple and i looked in the ingredients to see if aspartame was still in it and it wasn't listed. Is Snapple peach and raspberry a healthy drink choice or is there something else out there is great tasting and good for you? Any suggestions would be wonderful!-
ANSWER:
Snapple and other colored, flavored vitamin waters are all crap. If you want a cheaper and healthier alternative, just add a little juice to water. I love water flavored with a few squeezes of lemon or a few tablespoons of unsweetened cranberry juice. Experiment and see what you like.

QUESTION:
Is pineapple orange juice a healthy drink?
I love this juice. I am addicted to it , it is like a drug, except for that fact that it won't kill me. XD haa. But, I just wanted to knoe if it was healthy for me and my body. I know it has sugar, but everything has sugar. So, if anyone would help and tell me if this was a healthy drink or not, that would be great. Thanks.-
ANSWER:
The truth is anything with unnatural sugar would not be considered healthy. Juice with added sugar is not natural and fattening if you drink too much. The healthiest kind of pineapple orange juice would be squeezed with no added sugar (just natural glucose).
But this juice of course is a lot healthier than soda or fizz drinks so I dont really see any harm drinking it.

QUESTION:
I want to know if soy milk is a healthy drink also is it possible to consume 1liter of soy milk everyday?
well i was wondering about is it healthy to drink extract soy bean? because i had heard that, it can cause breast cancer, also i would like to know if thats true? also i would like to know if soyfresh soya milk is a save product to drink and you who had taste soyfresh soya milk please give me your review about it and whats so special about it?-
ANSWER:
Soya proteins contain isoflavones that can mimic a weak oestrogen effect. It's not the same as the oestrogen your own body makes though - it is 1,000 times weaker than your own body's oestrogen, but it's this that has led to concerns (and rumour) about oestrogen dependent cancer. There is no actual scientific evidence that any food, including soya, causes, prevents, contributes to or affects the progress of any cancer (the exception being high consumption of red and processed meat, which is a major risk factor for colorectal cancers).
This is as true of oestrogen positive breast cancer as of any other cancer (not all breast cancers are oestrogen positive).
The fact is, nobody knows what causes cancer, so anyone who tells you that any particular food 'causes cancer' is repeating hearsay and rumour.
I have had oestrogen dependent breast cancer, and have never been warned against soya.
Check with any reputable breast cancer information service or charity - go to their wegsites and do a search for 'breast cancer risk factors'; you won't find soya consumption listed anywhere.
There are those in the field who argue that isoflavones may be of help in preventing breast cancer or be beneficial to women who have had breast cancer.
There is current research into whether increasing phyto oestrogens in the diet helps to prevent breast or prostate cancer, and a study in 2002 found that women with the highest levels of soya products in their diets had the lowest breast density - higher breast density being associated with higher breast cancer risk.
Women with the highest levels of isoflavones in their diet are reported to have significant risk reductions for uterine cancer.
The charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer addresses the issue of soya quite thoroughly. Note that it says:
''Because phyto-oestrogens can act like oestrogen they can have similar effects to oestrogen, but at high doses they may actually block the effects of oestrogen. ''
and
''Some studies found that regularly eating foods that contain phyto-oestrogens might lower the risk of breast cancer, whereas others found that they have no effect.''
You can download their factsheet on soya:
http://breakthrough.org.uk/breast_cancer/breast_cancer_facts/publications/
Soya in moderation is fine; too much of any food is not healthy
Soya is contraindicated for certain thyroid conditions, and obviously those with such conditions should avoid it. As far as I can tell, there is no suggestion that soya actually causes or triggers such conditions.

QUESTION:
What is a healthy drink with no artificial sweeteners (besides water)?
Hello, I'm looking to find something to drink that is healthy, relatively low in carbohydrates and calories, and has no artificial sweeteners (sucralose, aspartame, etc.).. So far I've had no luck. Anyone know of something that I don't? Please do not tell me to drink water, I'm just one of those people that can't stand to drink it with a meal. I also want something refreshing, so not milk. Thank you~-
ANSWER:
Well.... lots of the alternative medicine boys don't like the fake sweeteners - like aspartame. They claim it's hard on the nerves. So one alternative is Stevia. It's the only fake sweetener that Atkins liked for his diet. It's a root from S. America which they grind up - and the best way to buy it is in liquid form. Comes with an eye dropper.
And you could brew up some tea - maybe put Cloves or Cinnamon in it - and some Stevia - and you'd have a really nice drink, hot or cold - and the tea is full of anti-oxidants.

*i can't spell:l-
ANSWER:
Green tea, hot or iced. Just don't add any sugar to it. And, if you drink it without any sweetener at all (like Nutrasweet or Splenda), that's even better. Add a slice of lemon or sprig of mint to jazz it up if you like. Green tea is very good for you. It has no calories, keeps you hydrated, contains antioxidants, and helps burn fat.

QUESTION:
If you eat healthy & drink lots of water every day, will your acne dissapear?
All these acne products (proactive, murad, etc..) doesmt work for me &its probably cause of all the chemicals in those products. So i heard that eating healthy & drinking 8 glasses of water will make your acne go away. If so, how long will it take? & any other tips to make them dissapear?
-
ANSWER:
While a lot of the 'myths' about acne (sex, chocolate, etc) have been dispelled, some scientists are acknowledging that in the long term, diet has a lot to do with acne. The main issues are a) the role of diet in chronic inflammation; b) the role of chronically-high blood sugar on skin; and c) the role of immune dysfunction on all body systems, including skin.
As the previous poster stated, acne is caused by bacteria. But the above three issues affect acne in the following ways: Chronic inflammation can cause localised swelling, which (as menstruating women know) exacerbates acne-prone skin by swelling pores closed. It can also interfere with your immune system's ability to fight bacteria, and it can slow down healing. Chronically high blood sugar can affect your hormones, which impacts your skin's ability to heal itself. Immune system disorders can cause your body's defenses to attack healthy cells.
Dr Alan Logan wrote a book called 'The Clear Skin Diet' which discusses the role of food in good skin.

QUESTION:
What is a healthy replacement drink for soft drinks?
I drink a lot of soft drinks like Pepsi, Coke, etc. I know it's not healthy for me, but I like the taste and I usually drink more in the morning and whenever I'm feeling sluggish. I don't drink coffee and I can't stand the taste of diet drinks. And by the way, I'm not into diet and exercise but I have a fairly physically demanding job. I'm lifting things and I always stay busy with something on the job, so I'm not a total couch potato.
I'm open to suggestions.-
ANSWER:
Juicy Juice or another fruit juice with 100% juice listed on the nutrition label. Especially with Juicy Juice it is sweet to the taste, but the majority of sugar is natural, so it is easier for your body to process. It will give you a more sustained pickup than sodas and there are many different flavors. The 100% juice is the key to it being better for you.

Is it safe to drink 2-3 ensures a day and eat 1 normal meal to loose weight? I've been doing this for a couple of weeks and feel fine, but I wasn't sure if it was healthy.
But.... I like to drink beer and soda.
I have slacked off a lot of both, and have been exercising (some which is more than I have ever done.) Walking, running, and lifting weights…
-
ANSWER:
No it's not healthy. Are you going to die from it? No.
Starting eating healthier. Go get a gym membership. There's other alternatives than doing that. Not to mention that stuff doesn't taste all that great. & it can get kinda pricey. You'd basically be on a liquid diet, meaning when you got to where you wanted to be, and started eating real meals again, it would be much easier to gain the weight back.Don't drink pop, or beer as much, if at all. I highly recommend getting a gym membership. It's not that expensive, it's fun, and you get to meet a lot of cool people.
Good luck..& be safeee!

I do know that it is healthy, but i know you get a lot of your water from food. What i'm asking is if it's healthy to drink 8 cups in addition to meals? Does it help you lose weight?-
ANSWER:
it is good for you. It won't help you lose weight in the short term, but it will in the long term. 8 glasses a day is generally the recommended intake of water daily. Although their is water in a lot of foods (mainly fruits and veggies, the amount is actually small compared with a cup. There might be 1 cup of water in a whole lettuce. It helps you lose weight as a parital appertite surpressant, so you are probably eating a bit less and having very few bad drinks for you (i.e. soft drink).

QUESTION:
Is it healthy to drink a fruit smoothie everyday?
I make smoothies everyday because I find it really fun and smoothies are delicious. I just want to know if I'm doing my body a favor or not. This is what I put in them:
-Frozen berries
-Bananas
-Orange juice
-Lemon juice
-IceI feel like my smoothies are healthy but when I look at the nutrition facts of what I put it, I see a lot of sugar (Orange juice, frozen fruits). Is it healthy to drink one of these a day?
-
ANSWER:
Fruits have natural sugars called fructose, which are monosaccharides (which are simple sugars), these are good sugars for your body. I don't think I would drink one everyday though. First off "always in moderation," too much citric acid like in the berries, orange juice, and lemon juice can cause severe stomach ulcers. I would limit them down to 3 - 4 times a week. You've got a very healthy hobby and I wish more people enjoyed this.

QUESTION:
Is it healthy to drink Jamba Juice every day?
I have been drinking Jamba Juice alot. And I heard that its good for you. And I heard it has alot of sugar. So Is it healthy to drink Jamba Juice every day?-
ANSWER:
There's no way to answer your question because there are many varieties of Jambe Juice and you didn't pick one. Jamba Juice is a brand, not a specific drink.Everything you want to know is here ---> http://nutritiondata.self.com/foods-Jamba%20Juice000000000000000000000.html
In general, juices and commercial juice cocktails such as Jamba Juice are not particularly beneficial to your health. They usually contain too much sugar and not enough fiber. It would be better to eat the whole fruit than to drink juices. That said, the difference is not substantial and if you're not on a fat loss diet, a Jamba or a juice cocktail a day isn't going to impair your health in any significant way. If you just love them and don't mind paying for them, go for it.
Good luck and good health!!

QUESTION:
Is it healthy to drink 4 gallons of water a day?
I love to drink water, and a lot of it but I don't know if its healthy to drink 4 gallons of it a day.-
ANSWER:
The question is, can you drink 4 gallons of water every day? I know that for most persons it is difficult to drink the recommended two quarts. And for those who really love to drink water, has found that a gallon is even difficult to maintain every day - but 4 gallons! 51 ten ounce glasses of water? 32 sixteen ounce bear drug full of water every day? Are you sure you meant 4 gallons? Or is it 4 quarts that you intended to ask about? I am an advocate of water drinking, but I would not recommend 4 gallons per day. Probably one gallon per day if you are a manual worker who works in the sun. Other than that the recommended two to two and a half quarts is quit enough.

QUESTION:
Is "TANG" a healthy drink, or should it be avoided?
Is "TANG" a healthy drink, or should it be avoided? Can there be any detrimental effects of consuming TANG everyday?-
ANSWER:
Tang is a chemical cocktail and completely man made in a factory. How healthy do you think it could be? It contains a whole bunch of artificial colors, preservatives, flavors, sweeteners. You name it they probably tossed it in the pot.
Most healthy people can handle the rubbish put in this completely artificial drink if they don't have allergies.
Question is, with other natural fruit juices out there with much less artificial crap in them why would a person prefer to toss that stuff down their throat?

QUESTION:
is it healthy to drink Pepsi everyday if your only 14 years old?
im addicted t pepsi and i want to stop, is it healthy to drink it everyday?-
ANSWER:
No. Soda is not good for you, it's not good for anyone. First of all, regular Pepsi has like 300 calories in it, so if you drink 4 or 5 a day, that's 1200-1500 EXTRA calories that will eventually make you gain weight. You probably only need to eat around 1500 calories per day, total, being 14. You should be eating fruits and veggies instead. Second of all, soda leaches calcium from your bones. And NOW is the time for you to store calcium so you don't break your hips or shrink when you're old. You should be eating plenty of low-fat or skim milk (2%) cheese, drinking low-fat milk, etc. Third, your body needs water to function well. Caffeine is a diuretic, meaning it makes you have to pee more and dehydrates you. You will feel and look bad if you drink soda instead of water. Fourth, caffeine is a drug. You are 14 years old. Sure, it may be a common drug, but it's still a drug. You don't need it in your system and would be much better off without it. Here's a tip- if you're eating or drinking something with a lot of words in the ingredients that you have to look up or can't pronounce, it's not something good for you. Cut back now and save yourself a lot of trouble in the future. Water can be flavored, or you can drink tea or something, but lay off the Pepsi. You can remove rust from a car with that stuff! Think about what it does to your insides. No thanks.

QUESTION:
Is it healthy to drink a lot of water in an hour just to catch up for your supposed daily water intake?
Im in school and i dont drink much there then when i get home i drink a lot. Is this healthy or is spreading water intake throughout the day more healthy?-
ANSWER:
It's healthy enough if you drink to the point where you're satisfied. Don't force yourself to drink more just to catch up on your daily intake. It can have detrimental effects if you forcefully drink lots and lots of water, even death.Just drink as much as you want. Rest for a bit/do homework, etc. Then after that go drink some more.

QUESTION:
Is it normal and healthy to drink 10-12 glasses of water a day?
I'm a 15 year old girl, 5'4", 110 lbs. I drink 5 to 6 bottles of water a day (10 to 12 glasses). If I don't drink this much water, my lips chap severley and it's hard to have bowel movements(tmi, sorry!). People are shocked when they see me drink so much water, but I feel like I need it. Is this healthy/normal?-
ANSWER:
Well I know that you're supposed to drink about 2 liters of water a day, but a lot of people struggle to even do that. What your drinking does seem to be excessive, especially as if you don't drink that much it does seem to have some effect. An increase in thirst can be a sign of diabetes, or perhaps if you have bowel problems then maybe there is something wrong with your diet and you need more fiber. If you are truly concerned then call your doctor.

I run high school track/XC and I eat healthy to support my running. I don't drink Soda and I was wondering if Capri Sun is bad for runners? I drink 2 pouches for every dinner and lunch.-
ANSWER:
Capri Sun has a much higher sugar content than water, so water would be healthier. As long as you aren't drinking it right before or after a meet, I think it's fine. Try to drink as much water as you can, because it will "clean out your insides" in simplest terms.
