Hemp Energy Drink

Protein is a necessary part of all of our diets. We need protein because it is broken down into the component amino acids, which are then restructured into specific proteins which we need to function. Everything we are is made of protein, and when something goes wrong, we need more to fix the problem. The point is, protein is important, and it is critical you have a lot of it in your diet.

One of the best sources of protein is from the hemp seed, which has one of the highest protein contents of any seed on the planet. Just three spoons of hemp seed a day will fulfill your daily protein requirement, and if you are vegetarian, this is an easy way to get protein without eating meat. The protein in hemp is also of a higher quality than other proteins, which is why hemp seed is not only an easy method of getting protein, but a preferable one.

As if that were not enough, hemp seed also has the perfect ratios of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. These are the good fats that actually help your health, and it is amazing that the ratios come out perfectly in a natural fashion. Due to the massive amount of protein and fatty acids available in hemp seed, they are ideal for bodybuilders or anyone who is looking to get strong quickly. You will not find any other protein source that is so easy to ingest and that gives so much benefit.

It is a shame more people are not aware of how good hemp seed is, perhaps because of the stigma that surrounds the plant from which it comes. In the future, this negative connotation will be completely eliminated, and people will come to respect this plant which has been given to us.

    Thanks .
thanks doc,but im not taking any drug tests,or anything,so no need to worry about that.
i appreciate that though,i didnt know poppy seeds could do that, thats intresting

    • ANSWER:
Have you tried Googling the name of the drink?

The maker should have a list of distributors.

BTW, if you are going to have to take a drug screen, you might want to reconsider drinking these things. If poppy seeds will give a false positive reading for opiates, I'd guess that hemp seed extract might cause a false positive reading as well. I'm not saying it will cause a positive reading, just giving my thoughts on the subject.

  4. QUESTION:
Have you ever heard of this drink?
Today, I reviewed the Jack Herer 420 Hemp Infusion energy drink. The store nearby had it and I was interested. It comes in an 8.4oz can, and actually has Hemp seed extract in it. I found it a bit odd and very uncommon, and wondered if anyone else has tried it. I reviewed it on my website, Canned Reviews. I myself, thought it was pretty good.

Here is the link to my review:

    http://cannedreviews.blogspot.com/2008/04/jack-herer-420-hemp-energy-infusion.html

I guess this is a European drink because in the ingredients, it lists "Flavour" instead of "Flavor.
    Oh, right, or Canadian.

    That makes sense, right.

  6. QUESTION:
My girlfriend is going through a hard time and...?
Okay, so my girlfriend of 6 months whom I'm crazily in love with is going through a very hard time in her life, a close family member just passed, she just lost her best friend of 3 years, her dad is verbally and physically abusive (but is being taken care of don't worry) and she loves basketball but the girls harass her because they're all friends of her ex bestfriend. I want too do something big, HUGE! For her, I don't care what it takes, she's super athletic, loves music, is very artistic, incredibly intelligent, the sweetest girl ever, loves helping people, loves sweet foods and energy drinks, loves hemp jewelry, things related too mushrooms and marijuana (not actuall mushrooms or marijuana though please lol) but I mean like pendants and jewelry and what not, likes clothes, likes concerts, likes the beach, is close with her family, um any other info (regarding to likes and dislikes that could contribute too figuring this out) just ask! I want too make her happy more than you could imagine. Help! help! help!

    • ANSWER:
In cases like this, taking a homemade approach is always better than buying something =)
Take her on a picnic (that you make) with her favorite foods to a pretty park or nice area. Or inside somewhere if the weather sucks, but still bring the blanket and basket.
Write her a song, or a poem. Even if you aren't that great at lyric writing, putting in the effort will show her how much you care.
Sign up for baking classes for both of you. Or painting classes, or pottery classes.
      Make her a scrapbook.
Send her on a scavenger hunt. Hand write cute clues and hide them in different places where she has to find them. Include family members (ie, have them hold onto a clue). Have this lead up to the bid surprise at the end, whatever you decide it to be.

Good luck, hope these get you started!

  8. QUESTION:
Hemp= Perfect Fuel. It produces more biomass than any other plant. Why not use hemp as a better alternative?
Industrial hemp contains less than 1% of THC the psychoactive component of marijuana. Trying to get high on industrial hemp is akin to trying to get drunk on non alcohol beer.

Hemp is the perfect source for fuel. It produces more biomass than any other plant. If we had to pay at the pump for all the military costs to keep the oil flowing clean burning alcohol fuel produced from hemp would be a bargain.

Delete this question and it proves how close minded and Ignorant you are about things you choose not to know about.
Please explain why Bio-Fuels are bad to start with?
    @Okios

Hemp is a high yield fiber crop, producing more biomass per acre than most other crops. As a result, the hydrocarbons in hemp could be used as a renewable, low polluting alternative to fossil fuels that is non-polluting to our atmosphere. Hemp is excellent in producing alternative fuels such as biodiesel and ethanol. Hemp could be processed into fuel pellets, liquid fuels, and gas, reducing our consumption of fossil fuels and nuclear power. Both the seed and the fiber can be used, though the process varies depending on what you use.

  11. QUESTION:
Should I enter the marijuana business?
No I'm not a stoner and I'm so anti-drugs I don't drink anything alcoholic, smoke cigarettes,or eat certain fatty foods to limit my calorie in take to 2,000 a day and I exercise to lose 2,000 calories to keep a balance of my weight of 150 pounds.

So anyway I want to get people to grow hemp in there homes and in return they give it to me so I can turn it into energy and give them 80% of the profit. Could that be legal?

    • ANSWER:
Hemp is the male form of the marijuana plant. It contains no drugs (no THC). It used to be legal to grow (decades ago), but it is not currently legal to grow in the USA. It is legal to import it if it is grown in some other country, however.

So, to answer your question - no you should not. The risk is not worth the reward. Energy does not sell at a high enough price to justify breaking the law, even though it is a silly law.

  12. QUESTION:
How many pills/supplements do people, who does regular exercise in the gym, take?
I wonder what is the limit of ammout of pills to take. At the moment I take Every morning Guarana(1pill) for energy, then an hour later I take Multivitamins(1pill) and Vitamin C500mg then I have Accai berry pills with Green tea extract helping me reduce body fat plus natural antioxidant( I usually take morning, lunch and before the gym) After work out I have L-Glutamine 5g (1pill) and before bed time i take on an empty stomach 2 ZMA (pills) and of cause during day I properly and healthy eat (law fat, lots of proteins) and usually drinking two Hemp shakes lunch time and after work out. Is that too much? What is the best option variation of suplement to take? My goal is to achieve great Cover look. I am almost there, just now looking to increase muscle size( add weight) and loose body fat. At the moment I am around 13,5% - 14% I want to drop it to up to 10% I am 175cm tall and 65kg weight.

    Any suggestions;recommendations?

    thanks guys

    • ANSWER:
I take a multivitamin every morning with breakfast and that's it. Seems like you're wasting a lot of money on a bunch of crap. If you're eating properly you don't need all that extra stuff. In fact most doctors would suggest that you stop it because you are over doing it. You can get just as healthy and fit without it. Less is always better, you never know what the heck you're putting into your body and if you were to actually really read up on most of those supplements you are taking and what they are actually doing or can do to your body you might change your mind about taking them.

  13. QUESTION:
Vegetarian! Best food(s) for long drinking session (healthy)?
    Hey guys

    Okay,

I have a long weekend coming up with four day long drinking events, I don't drink too often (once every two weeks and can easily handle spirits in large quantities (no beer or cider, I hate it).

Okay the thing is I have lost a lot of weight since my last serious session and haven't been eating a lot so my body is quite vulnerable to spirits and I don't want to end up on my azz on the first day.

I will be camping for the most part so any of you got any tips on food I can eat (no meat or fish) to slow down the absorbtion of alcohol and keep me in high energy for plenty of dancing, meeting people etc.

Any tips would be great otherwise I can see a weekend of porridge (oatmeal), hemp seeds and liver failure coming up. lol

    Thanks in advance!
Italian Bread... MMmmmmm! I think I may make up some subs to keep me going! Great idea btw

R... Thanks for the concern but I assure you i'm old enough to make my own choices in life.. life is all about balance man and as long as you care for your body it should be able to take most things you throw at it providing you don't truly disrespect it i.e. drink for four days without sleeping or eating. I intend to sleep, eat nutritious meals and give myself a mental holiday that involves drinking more than i normally would. Chill man :-)

    • ANSWER:
A nice big plate of mashed potato. You can add finely chopped onion or cheese. Cheese will help delay absorption of alcohol as it takes longer to digest. (Unless you want a quick alcoholic fix??).
Pasta, red bean soup, any carbohydrate or fat (like nuts, peanut butter), fruit.
Protein protects the liver to some degree, so do include some cheese!

  14. QUESTION:
is anyone going to the Marijuana rally?
I will be there waiting for everyone to show up… Please everyone spread the word!!! We need everyone to come out of their safe little closet and show up at the protest. I have read many places where no one wants to come out and support this because they would much rather stay home. Well that is one reason that cannabis/hemp is still illegal. We are willing to tell pollsters that we want cannabis legalized, if no one knows who is saying it, but once you are asked to stand and be counted, you are afraid. Afraid of what, someone will notice you? I would be afraid of not standing up and being counted. The laws would stay the way they are and police will continue breaking down doors and mistakenly killing people during drug raids!

How many more people have to be killed in this war on drugs? IF cannabis were legal that would put an end to the cartels. They would have no more reason to kill individuals over cannabis. Cannabis could be taxed, and regulated and it would then be harder for minors to get their hands on it. Right now all they have to do is go down to the corner and pick some up. The drug dealer on the corner does not check ID’s. IF it were regulated and sold in stores, they could put an age limit on it and then they would have to provide ID to purchase it. Just as with cigarettes, and alcohol. Yes they would still be able to get it, but it would be harder. Once you take the danger away from it it many not be fun for someone any longer. Just as before you turn 21 you like to drink because you think you are getting away with something, but then after you turn 21 it is no longer any fun and you don’t do it as much. This same thing will happen with cannabis/hemp. When becomes legal, some people will have it around and not smoke it because it is no longer where and when am I going to get my stuff next? You will just be able to walk down to the corner store.

Medical cannabis is very important to people. We need to legalize it now. We need to stand up for it now. 75% of people in America approve the use of medical cannabis, but they are afraid to stand up in public for it, until someone they love needs it desperately. Everyone needs to stand up now, so when their loved-one needs it it will be there, and will be legal! You don’t want to have to wast precious time and energy fighting for cannabis legalization when that time, effort, and money could be put to helping your loved one recover. Even the NCI says that cannabis can help reduce tumors. IF a government agency can stand up against the government and endorse cannabis, then we as people should be able to stand up for it also! Don’t be afraid that someone will recognize you, if 75% of Americans approve of cannabis for medical reasons, then that means that most of your friends are for it also, so they would be proud of you for standing up for it. If we all talked openly about it, maybe we could find out that even more people are in the corner of cannabis, and they would be more willing to stand up for it if they had more people like YOU standing next to them.

So what is the meanings of my ramblings? COME OUT OF THE CLOSET AND STAND UP FOR CANNABIS/HEMP and lets get them legalized!!! I have not even gone into the reasons hemp should be legal to grow and harvested for industrial use! They are to numerous to to list. Lets just say that Hemp can feed and paper the world while at the same times saving it from the oil barons that pump oil for transportation and plastic! HEMP CAN and WILL SAVE THE WORLD once it is legalized. Those are dangerous words. Do you think that the big oil companies are going to let hemp become legal to replace gas, plastics and everything else that hemp could replace oil for? That is why we have to fight so hard. We are fighting a never ending money pit. At lease never ending in our lifetime! (Unless we get hemp legalized)

SO WE HAVE TO COME OUT IN PUBLIC AND STAND FOR LEGALIZATION FOR CANNABIS AND HEMP!!! SO I HOPE I WILL SEE YOU THERE!
i copied this from some guys post..
it is in washington d.c. tommorow at 10:00 a.m.

    • ANSWER:
I support legalization efforts. However, you have two choices. 1) You can make rational arguments that draw on fundamental principals of freedom and self-determination. 2) You can make a public spectacle and hope that you're annoying enough that someone will let you have your way just so that you shut the f-ck up.

I beg you to choose the former.

  15. QUESTION:
WHAT ARE THE VOTING RECORDS OF YOUR REPRESENTATIVE ON MARIJUANA, OIL AND ENVIRONMENTAL LAWS?
So, I looked up the voting record of my representative on these same issues.

I know that marijuana was made illegal to begin with because it threatened to cost the environment damaging Big Oil and Logging industries Billions of dollars because it can replace all of their products. Specifically Dupont and William Randolph Hurst supported by Andrew Mellon who was Hoovers Secretary of the Treasury and Dupont's main investor and Robert Doten who is the head of the only committe that can take a proposed bill to the floor for voting without it being debated by other comittees and also one of Dupont's main investor's. And Andrew Mellon's nephew, Harry J. Anslinger, was placed in charge of the Federal bureau of narcotics and turned the entire world against marijuana. History reports that almost no one knew that Marijuana was Hemp other than these 5 people and congress voted the bill in that made it illegal without even knowing that they were making Hemp illegal. Even the American Medical Associated stated "The reason the A.M.A. has not disputed this bill sooner was because we just found out that marijuana was Hemp"

In 1938 Popular Mechanics printed an article on the uses of Hemp and stated that it was going to be the number one cash crop in the world. This was an entire year after it was made illegal.
"The only reason that the American Medical Association did not dispute this bill sooner was because we JUST found out that Marijuana was Hemp... The A.M.A. knew hemp to be a medicine sold in numerous healing products sold over the past 100 years." from The American Medical Association's speach on marijuana after it had been made illegal.
Many people were arrested for using hemp products and smoking it and did not understand why there were being arrested because marijuana was illegal, not hemp.
No one knew marijuana was hemp because marijuana was something no one had ever heard of before. William Randolph Hurst owned a news paper printing company and started printing off news papers with this "new marijuana cigarette from mexico" and it's "Stanic behavior causing" qualites.

before WWII the government was goign to make marijuana legal again. But Harry J. Anslinger, who was quoted before saying "Marijuana is the most violence enducing drug known to man" stated "Marijuana will make soldiers so passive they will not want to fight and you will lose the war" so they kept it illegal for the opposite reason they made it illegal to begin with. The only reason the U.S. was instructing farmer's to grow it was because they didn't have enough trees and cotton to make fabrics and ropes.
You should also know that the "Partnership for a Drug Free America" which runs smear add campaigns against marijuana is funded by the alcohol companies. Because research has conclusively shown that marijuana reduces the urge to drink in alcoholics.

The Journal of Neurology concludes on marijuana based on countless conclusive studies by credible researchers, "If marijuana were a new discovery instead of a well known substance with political and cultural baggage, it would be hailed as a wonder drug"

Marijuana can be used in countless industrial and medical uses. It is even estimated to be able to replace all of the worlds paper and wood needs as well as over 90% of the worlds energy and plastic needs with 7 times less pollution to the environment.

So, I looked up my representative's voting record and found that in laws concerning environmental laws that he voted against everything that helps protect the environment. He voted against everything concerning alternative fuel sources to oil. And he voted for everything that keeps marijuana illegal and against everything that helps it be legalized.

Does this indicate he is invested in or funded by oil industries? What did your representative vote on these issues?

Here is the official web site that makes it more than easy to find your representative. Then you can google search the name of your representative "(name here) voting records" and click on the link for "ontheissues.org" and it will take you to your representatives voting record. The voting records are set in a very easy to read format.
    https://writerep.house.gov/writerep/welc…

this particular representative did not just vote against EVERY law that could make marijuana legal. He also voted against EVERY law that helps protect the environment. Something that oil polutes heavily and regularly. He also voted against EVERY law that uses ANY alternative fuel sources. This is not something the people in my district support. This is something that helps to support the oil industry. Something that marijuana could bankrupt with bio diesel, oil and ethanol.
For credibility of these claims simply google "How marijuana became illegal" You will find endless sources.

As far as making alcohol illegal I'm all for that too. You want to make Coffee illegal also? It's a neurotoxin that is simply a weaker form of cocain and supports columbia and arabic cartel's and terrorism. Every time you take a sip you are supporting these organizations. I'm all for making coffee illegal. But marijuana should be legal. I don't care about your 1937 rhetoric about how marijuana is satan's drug.

It has been conclusively proven by many credible researchers that marijuana does not impare judgement or motor function the way alcohol and opiates do because they do not effect the opioid receptors the way alcohol and opioids do which is why smoking marijuana does not dilate the pupils. If you smoke to much it simiply makes you tired. But you have to smoke too much for that to happen. So please save it. I don't care to hear your disproven "suggestions" and "theories"

    • ANSWER:
      lol its illegal

  16. QUESTION:
Is there any other reason besides money that anti-alcohol commercials are not on TV like anti-pot commercials?
Personally, I'm not necessarily for legalizing pot other than it would cut way back on the amount of money, effort / energy, manpower, etc. as well as money the taxpayers pay into processing people for pot related crimes, in prisons, court, etc.

I have noticed a lot of people are uneducated in the real reasons why 'hemp' is illegal, even industrial hemp containing NO THC.

I ask because I see this anti-pot commercial and think it is effective, but other than, "don't drink and drive" commercials, I've never seen an anti-alcohol related commercial. Never diving into the addictive properties associated with booze, as well, as how it kills brain cells, and so on.

My guess is because of all the ties to money. Politicians, the media, etc. all benefit from the sale of alcohol, as well as tobacco. If tobacco didn't exist, I'm sure it would never be approved to be sold on any market these days. It has been around for so long and so many people profit from the sales of it, I don't see them making any attempts to stop the sale and distribution of it. Sad, so many towns have liquor stores, yet their schools don't have computers. Sad, sad, sad...
If you guys get the chance, or are so inspired, look for the Video named, "Hemp for Victory". It was a movie produced by the Navy during WWII. They used hemp for so many things, rope, clothing, etc. I've heard all kinds of things about hemp and seen movies with both arguments and it is in my opinion that it is a waste of money and resources to process people criminally, related to pot. The Dupont Chemical Co. lobbied to have it outlawed and workers from the prohibition era went to work against hemp farmers, even though at one point it was mandatory to grow it. Dupont was against it because of their hold on the paper industry; lining politicians pockets with money so they could capitalize on the industry. What does this teach our children, other than reinforce that if you have enough money, you can even outlaw good things. I'm surprised solar panels aren't against the law, in regards to this train of thought.

    • ANSWER:
I totally agree. Apparently its okay now to drink. They're overdoing it with the pot commercials. I've never seen someone kill someone after smoking pot, all I know is it makes a person relaxed and gives them the munchies, whereas alcohol causes a number of deaths from drunk driving. Thats all this country runs on is making money, I feel they could care less about us. I'm not saying they should stop with the pot commercials, I just feel like there are more dangerous drugs out there that claim lives of people on a daily basis.

  18. QUESTION:
I want to workout & get big again after 6 months of no serious workout activity.?
Before last summer I was very into working out and eating healthy. I used to workout specific muscle groups and various workout techniques that bulked me. Im 18 5'9" and I Used to eat only organic no junk food, took multivitamins, L arginine, B complex and a creatine/arginine like powder for energy and muscle performance along with hemp protein powder. I went from 120lbs to 145-150 lbs in a period of 3 or 4 months. The problem is when summer hit I got extremely lazy... I started smoking and drinking and stopped eating healthy, I hit a brick wall and lost everything I worked for, I went back to 120lbs and my health just isnt the same anymore. I quit smoking and been sober for over a month and plan to keep it that way.
Also my parents sold their gym equipment ontop of that. I own a pull up bar, dumbells and I can do pushups once I start again, and i have a small gym in my neighborhood, the machines arent great but its decent enough. not a huge variety either. Another problem is getting myself to eat healthy again and motivation to work out, I know what I need to do but I dont have the energy or desire for it and I need help on that.

    • ANSWER:
The motivation to work out is easiest to solve by building a habit. A habit is something you regularly do and which you feel bad if you don't them. IF you work out every other day three days a week for the next 3 or 4 weeks, then before you know, you have developed the habit of working out. Don't worry about three months from now, just get to work out today, then again 2 days later, then again 2 days later. Repeat the next week. Repeat the week after that.

  19. QUESTION:

it can be used for energy, ego friendly, completely renewable, the hemp of the plant can be used for rope, paper, fabrics.
smoking it increases the sexual intercourse for both sexes,
coffee is more addictive than cannabis,
cannabis increases creativity of the mind and also opens up the veins up in your arteries which is the opposite effect to what smoking tobacco does which is filling the arteries with fat.

made illegal by rich OIL companys**

    and increases sexual pleasure**

    sorry i made some mistakes
and i meant echo freindly not ego freindly haha

    • ANSWER:
When I hear people listing the great variety of uses for cannabis and marijuana, I agree to a certain extent, but it also reminds me of what the government of Canada is doing with its forests right now. Some chubby bureacrats have decided that all across the country, it would be a great idea to plant red pine. They are great for mashing up and turning into paper products. So where there used to be immense forests, there are now billions of hectares now covered in a monculture with one kind of tree. The whole country. All it takes is for one aggressive species to come along and take advantage of all that pine, and every tree in a 30 million square kilometre is going to disappear. And in fact this is happening. Red pine beetles are now making their way east across the country, killing every tree along the way. This is destroying the whole forestry industry, putting tens of thousands of people out of work, and it's making a bad environmental situation much worse. It's not like they couldn't have foreseen this with the teenciest bit of insight, but they were greedy and all they could see was vast tracts of land covered with what they thought was money. A plant like cannabis, which has such a diverse range of uses, might tempt exactly this kind of behaviour. But until we learn how to do agrculture without monoculture, I will not support the widespread planting of hemp fibres or encouraging dependence on it. We are having the same problems with soy beans. They are so useful that people abuse them horribly and the result is that soy beans are no longer very healthy. It's nothing against pot or hemp, it has everything to do with short-sighted greedy ignorant farming practices.

  21. QUESTION:
(Prop 19) How do you think marijuana became illegal?
Marijuana was made illegal in the the 30's.

You probably think Marijuana was tested with science and some what experienced people.

It makes you high, happy and hungry that is it! So much less harmful than drinking a beer!

And you probably think that marijuana was made illegal to protect the American people.

Well... that is not even close to what happened.

The Timber/Wood ( forest killing company ) and the Nylon company came in direct conflict with the "Hemp" (marijuana plant) company .

Why did these companies have collision?

Because the "hemp plant is the one most useful plant's in the world.

It makes the most long lasting most approved paper of all sorts.

    It makes clothing.

It itself is an amazing food.

    It makes cooking oils.

It makes fuel/ like CLEAN ENERGY!

It is just amazing how much good his plant would do if it were to be legalized world wide.

I can't believe California threw away so much when we are in his much debt.
Did you know our Founding Father's Grew Marijuana? George Washington was in fact very fond of growing the plant. I also know that United States America's first Marijuana laws were that all land owners MUST grow HEMP. It is really surprising that they did not teach me this in school I researched this myself.

    • ANSWER:
And if we only look back as far as 1970 we see that public safety *wasn't* the reason it was put into Schedule I of the CSA and officially made illegal.

In 1970, Congress placed cannabis into Schedule I on the advice of Assistant Secretary of Health Roger O. Egeberg. His letter to Harley O. Staggers, Chairman of the House Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce, indicates that the classification was intended to be provisional:

Dear Mr. Chairman: In a prior communication, comments requested by your committee on the scientific aspects of the drug classification scheme incorporated in H.R. 18583 were provided. This communication is concerned with the proposed classification of marijuana.

It is presently classed in schedule I(C) along with its active constituents, the tetrahydrocannibinols and other psychotropic drugs.

Some question has been raised whether the use of the plant itself produces "severe psychological or physical dependence" as required by a schedule I or even schedule II criterion. Since there is still a considerable void in our knowledge of the plant and effects of the active drug contained in it, our recommendation is that marijuana be retained within schedule I at least until the completion of certain studies now underway to resolve the issue. If those studies make it appropriate for the Attorney General to change the placement of marijuana to a different schedule, he may do so in accordance with the authority provided under section 201 of the bill. . .

Sincerely yours, (signed) Roger O. Egeberg, M.D.[2]

The reference to "certain studies" is to the then-forthcoming National Commission on Marijuana and Drug Abuse. In 1972, the Commission released a report favoring decriminalization of cannabis, it concluded that "while marijuana was not entirely safe, its dangers had been grossly overstated". At this point marijuana should have been decriminalized but that finding didn't suit the political requirements of President Nixon who wanted a report which supported his views and "tough on crime" policies. The report was therefore ignored and marijuana stayed in Schedule I.

Sixteen years later, after two years of public hearings "involving many witnesses and thousands of pages of documentation", DEA Chief Administrative Law Judge Francis L. Young ruled that marijuana did not meet the legal criteria of a Schedule I prohibited drug and should be reclassified. He declared that "In strict medical terms marijuana is far safer than many foods we commonly consume. It is physically impossible to eat enough marijuana to induce death. Marijuana, in its natural form, is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man".

Instead of Judge Young's decision leading to the rescheduling of marijuna in 1986, DEA Administrator John Lawn overruled it and marijuana stayed in Schedule I.

In the years since the Shafer Commissions report was released, researchers have conducted thousands of studies of humans, animals, and cell cultures. None have revealed any findings dramatically different from those described by the National Commission in 1972. In 1995, based on thirty years of scientific research, editors of the British medical journal "Lancet" concluded that "the smoking of cannabis, even long term, is not harmful to health".

  22. QUESTION:
Has anyone found a replacement to the Isagenix Shake?
I have been drinking the Isagenix Shake (Chocolate) for over a year now, and I love the taste as well as the energy that it gives me. I can't seem to live without it... but yeesh - the price is a little steep, and no I am not willing to build my "MLM" to help finance it. Has anyone out there found a better or similar tasting/feeling shake?

Isagenix Shake is made of undenatured whey, which I heard was the best kind. I have tried BioChem (that was yucky) and Almased (which is Soy based). I tried Vega, and that was great but even more expensive. I have also tried Hemp shakes... Please help!

    • ANSWER:
I've tried a variety, but nothing compares. Either the tastes is yucky or the ingredients not as pure. Price ends up being pretty comparable.

I presume you are purchasing as an associate at wholesale prices right? If not, it is very much worth it to join for the savings. You don't "have" to sell - just enjoy the discounts

  23. QUESTION:
why doesnt the govt legalize marijuana?
fact marijuana fully cures cancer, suppresses diabetes, supresses ALS and alzhiemers, protects organs this is the proof
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjhT9282-Tw

fact hemp has over a thousand positive uses from making clothing that is more durible and can be recycled into paper to making gas for cars with low polution to replacing 90% of the worlds energy without polution.
fact: the govt can make trillions mass producing and taxing weed
fact: america can become self reliant mass producing weed
fact: alcohol is worse for you than weed( the only way to stop binge drinking from putting holes in your brain is to use marijuana after) that one is from manswers
fact the govt legalizes abortion but does not know its true effect on the afterlife. still people trust the govt saying that weed is bad
fact: we have a thing in our brain called cannaboid receptors- only use is to intake cannaboids and thc
thus by evolution humans are meant to smoke
fact: some real criminals get let out of prison early to make room for non violent drug offenders

if global warming is a problem due to polution and will eventually create flooding, volcanic eruptions earthquakes and other life threatening natural disasters and mass producing marijuana would stop polution, it just does not make sence.
I would like to comment ms stevens on the first reply.
    1. proven fact people drive 10-15 mph slower on marijuana that was on mtv news
    2. people die from drunk driving every day proving the govt does not care about it enough for that to be any reason

and if there are hundreds of reasons to make marijuana illegal there are a thousand more reasons to make marijuana legal. how about saving millions of cancer childrens lives
how bout keeping this earth clean so that our children dont have to deal with mass deaths from global warming
