Did you know that the very first vending machine was built 2000 thousand years ago? Well, it was! Hero of Alexandria, a mathematician living in 215BC, built a vending machine that dispensed holy water in an Egyptian temple. Worshipers would put a coin into the machine, and the coin would fall onto a pan of holy water attached to a lever, which would cause the pan to tip. When the pan was emptied, the coin would fall off and the flow of water would stop.

After that time, the first modern vending machines were made in England to dispense post cards. In the United States, vending machines were set up on the subway platforms in New York City to sell chewing gum to commuters. It was in the 1920s that the first vending machines were used to dispense soda pop into paper cups. Then in the 40s and 50s, the classic soda bottle machines for Coca-Cola and Pepsi were designed and distributed by the Vendorlator Manufacturing Company.       I would market Tab as a crash fit for a king. I ran out of my Advanced Cell Therapy. ACT lasts all day long. My friend gave me one of her Tabs and 2 hours to the minute, I crashed and I crashed hard. It would have been better if I wouldn't have taken it in the first place.

      Speciality grocery stores. I've never seen them at Wally World (Wal-Mart). Try Krogers. If they do not have it get them to special order it for you. They should order it for you at no extra fee. Tab has been around for a long time. I've known lots of people who get addicted to those things. Beware!! ;O)

    My friends and I always get Tab energy drinks for our sleepovers, it's become sort of a tradition. But being our adventurous selves, we wanted to try something else, something stronger..     I know they are low in calories, but is it bad to drink one or two everyday?

      The tab energy drink is actually not bad and you can drink two a day no problem. I had one the first time the other day and it was pretty good. It only has 90 mg of caffeine per container as opposed to a large Starbucks which can have up to 260 mg. Tab also had some good vitamins in it and I actually felt better in the afternoon when I drank it, better than a coffee in the afternoon. I was impressed with the Tab. So you should be OK with two a day.

    I have over 125 pull tabs from monster energy drinks and I want some way to display them that I can always add more to. Monster is one of my favorite drinks and the tabs come in several colors and are cool looking so I really want a neat way to show them off.

      Believe it or not, I actually have a tab collection, 181 different tabs.

      I have two sheets of posterboard on my wall. I went to the crafts section of Walmart and found these real small zip-lock baggies, and as I find new tabs, I just put another zippie on the wall. I used tacks to position the full posterboard over the board that is not full, this way I'm not looking at a lot of blank paper, every 12th new tab, I just move the back board out another two inches and start all over again.
